Hello, It's very good advice for business owners to maintain the cash flow. But I have a concern; if we manage to delay our payment cycle in every possible way. and at the deadline of the payment, unfortunately, we have used that cash. it will be a threat to a business. Personally, I use to pay early basis for every debt. It will cause the cash flow that what the topic of this video. where I am in my early stage of business right now. but the benefit I get is at a shortage of cash you will run the business at a very efficient cost and resist unnecessary expanse.
Very true! I have this same concern. If we delay the payments we can land into trouble on due dates. But I think he means a healthy balance between paying bills etc and maintaining liquidity. And delaying as much as possible.
Also we can make a payment schedule for outgoing expenses and stick to it with discipline. In that way our vendors also won't complain. As they know payments will be made on a later date. Even if we have to take loan to clear those payments. It'll maintain our goodwill and give us higher credit periods and lower advances.
I always criticized how my father did business. But this is an eye opener. All these mechanisms are to retain liquidity in the company and yet continuously focus on sales and fulfillment of new orders. Thanks for the video! Can you also suggest the limit of credit (in percentage of monthly turnover or purchase to minimize risk) that can be given to clients for better liquidity!

You should have given ideas of how to earn more profit/ more cash flow by generating more sales or expansion of business rather than earning money by holding employee salary. Many employers are already holding salary upto 30th of month and this club will get bigger by following your suggestion.
