I'm pretty sure the demo featured two of the only licensed Premier League teams, in the full game it was unlicensed. With unofficial option files you could however have all of the badges and kits whilst on the PC you could mod the game entirely to have whatever kits, faces, boots and balls you so desire.

Wishlist:
1. Add dynamic weather. Like, snow in november, december, january and february. PES 5 had the snow. I liked it.
2. Rain. Make better rain. Make players go slower in the rain and make the rain so we can see it fall.
3. Jim Beglin and John Champion. Add new quotes. Let them say something new.
4. Make it more comfortable for PC and keyboard. Let the faints be somehow if possible easier to perform.
5. Make free kicks easier to perform. I like that helping line you showed in trailer.
Interactions between players and animations look pretty natural! Nice.
Appreciate you also seeing this. The goalkeepers in games should also reflect this. But its far from the easiest thing to make the animations work and respond in the same way as goalkeepers make mistakes in real matches. That's why i'm glad the "E" in PES stands for evolution, so that real PES fans(who actually buy the game so Konami can get the funds to evolve, no FIFA turncoats ) can help bring the King back to its rightful place.
This is one thing i can relate to you about, you see i live for more immersion factors like crowd reaction and variety and real time commentator reactions such as pitch of voice and relative commentary. Every year i buy both PES and FIFA and this year i will do the same but i can tell you that PES 12 and 13 lacked spirit while even though FIFA had so much BS going on like poor be a pro integration into the final game, they had a ton of spirit and rich commentary. I hope PES 14 adopts that.
For PC there are a lot of patches whcih add features as correct teams, stadiums etc., but even for PS3 or XBox there are every year some people which do hard work, so that these consoles get patches too.
I say keep the free kick line as an option for beginners offline. However, it's important to REMOVE it completely online, so that matches feel authentic & that free kicks are harder to score.
A personal life for your player, interact with fans on the stadium or by social network, maybe even both, interviews, help from your teammates in and off the field. Conversations with your coach, staff, and other guys... More realistic transfers, real contracts, magazines, tv shows, parties, animations of your guy getting out of the bus or a plane and a lot of things.
this PES 2014 (not for xbox one and ps4) just a built up to PES 2015 which created purposedly for next gen consoles and the game surely will be even better
I don't know what your specific gaming platform is, but there are hints by the dev team that the PC version will have strongly improved visuals in some areas.
You can turn off the free kick line by holding r1 I read somewhere, it won't bother me as long as we have the option to use it

That's a good point. Konami would basically run EA out of bussiness if Pes would have the licenses Fifa does. The gameplay is just a lot better. I still hope maybe one day Pes would have all the licenses, clubs, national teams and stadiums. It would be awesome :)

For me, PES has involved into a complete Arcade Soccer game, After playing the game since PES 1 and used to be one of the best when the game was at it highlight (PES5, 6) I bought Fifa for the first time this year, not that it's so awesome, but alot more stable then PES was. For me, PES will have to come up with huge changes so it will be possible to overdominate your opponent again instead of the tragic play where every player can dribble like Messi, I'm very sceptical about this after last pes
My last PES was 2010; I liked it but then PES 11 wasn't much different and then I switched to FIFA, which hasn't even improved since 11 really... Now I will come back to this!

The whole weight shift thing is pretty cool
It's really possible to predict what a player will do in Soccer games, take 2K for example, there are tendencies and it really works is still possible to predict, but is more realistic, some will take the 3PT, some don't. And that mode is a simulation of a soccer player, if they put more work on that, they can be better than Fifa.
should I buy fifa 14 or pes 14 for pc? please reply! theres not going to be ignite for the pc version of fifa but Ultimate team is worth it I guess but then pes 14 offers a really good game as well. your opinions?
PES has really improved compared to last year's version and now i think they can finally rival FIFA.Good job pes you have my money!
Buffon - arguably the world's best - proved this at the Confederations Cup, where he made 3 mistakes leading to goals against Brasil. Casillas then again in the final where he did not have a great game.
I'm a huga Fifa fan, but looks like PES is pushing football games to another level. I have to see the end product in action, like a demo? And hopfully they get more teams.

Transfers and contracts are not realistics, theres no tendencies that differences a player to the other. Now, about the simulation thing, just put a option that you can activate or not these options, I'm really sure that this will bring a lot of fans for the series. And they really should put more difficult in the game as well.
I know what you're looking at, and I see it as well. It's the almost crouching position that the players are constantly in. They never seem to stand up right or look natural. HOWEVER, that's been a PES trait since the PS2 days, but I much prefer that issue over the issue of FIFA where the players look like they're skating instead of running. Seriously, FIFA creeps me out the way they glide over the field instead of run...... *shivers*
I love how the defenders just saw ribery and robben go and stood there like cones. 2:30-2:45 SOOOO realistic its seriously unbelievable
PES 2013 would be the last game for PS2 and PS4 is nearing to release now, they've stopped production on PS2 games, it was great back in the day but now it's outdated.
Actually, i found all features in PES and FIFA is the same, 360 ball control, impact engine, career mode, customizing strategy, both games has it. PES has good graphics and better crowd in advantage, while FIFA has pro intellegence and real human brain. Both games is gotta be awesome depending on what experience you want so i really wanna get both.

I don't hear any tactics improvement from FIFA 14. But Human Intellegence and/or Pro Instincts is the ultimate weapon EA used aginst Konami.
graphics are pretty good, they pay attention to player detail, it might be slightly better or slightly worse than FIFA but i'm still not convinced to going back to PES being my number 1 football game, PES4 was insane!
i wanna be able to play this game from that top camera angle, i hope konami add more camera angles :)
tbf. theres probably an option to turn off the Free kick assist line, i kinda hope so..i like the challenge of trying to line up a perfect shot without any help.

Welcome back PES!!! Finally can make the switch back from FIFA to PES. Tired of EA only focusing on making minor improvements and focusing solely on Ultimate Team
All you have to do is save the Chelsea logo on your console. Then you can upload it in the game. It's not a big deal not have the license. When I go to pick my team I can't even tell the difference. I think there's also a way to get the uniforms but you would have to do some research to get the answers. For myself, If they have the players I rather play the better game which is PES.
It's actually in the game... (see the E3 footage). Hopefully it will be possible to turn it off though.

Dude most people loved PES and Winning Eleven way before Fifa, difference is Fifa started getting better with years. Hope this new PES does well.

but what i love in pes are the tactics. i dont know why fifa cant get this too. but i have to say this is a feature that i actually love when playing pes. you can create different chances from all positions, thats the difference to fifa. i also liked the part in the video where the atacker passes the ball and a near standing defender (lahm) tries to get the pass before the striker gets it. also kind of teamwork that i really like. hope its going to be a better game than pes 13

The freekick line wont be in the game. It was just there to demonstrate the curve and placement of the ball!
Lisenced players... That is the key to winning FIFA. Oh and they need to release this on next gen consoles.
The New Era of PES Begins
one of the things that REALLY need to change is the way we negotiate with other teams in ML mode. Like, why were we not allowed to negotiate directly with the other clubs? It's annoying and takes away half the fun in playing Manager of a team. I want to be able to make the first offer and if the other club doesn't accept it right away then I want to be able send another and another till I get my transfer target.
The set piece (free kick) is kinda great. Really can't wait !
Just a heads up, gameplay will be more fluid and slower so it is more realistic.
I actually appreciate PES and probably, since FIFA 14 gotta be 80$ and launched 12 months later, i'm maybe will get PES.
YOU CAN MOD THE GAME AND STILL PLAY ONLINE!! get the real licenses through a usb. install and done. even the new kits, stadiums. everything.

I admit that i'm afraid of this free-kick system but i'm sure that it will be balanced. And if nobody want it, KONAMI will remove this feature from the game so i think that's not a big problem
Pes 2013 was the pinnacle of pes already. This can be excellent if Konami can make all the new stuff work. Usually it takes them an iteration or two.. So I'm personally thinking Pes 2015, or 16 will rock, but hopefully already 2014 of course :)

The first project of BAL, or Carrer Mode was to do a simulation of a real Soccer player, Konami said that years ago and this is obvious. No, it's not that easier, but it can be made, and i never say that Fifa is better, will be really fun to play that mod without the same animations, the same atmosphere, and the same everything. The problem with Soccer games today is that they only care about ''Soccer'' i mean even the fans have no realistic graphics when they are on the stadium.

I've been playing pes since the very beginning! So if u want feedback which I've been giving day in day out! At least add handshake at the beginning, handball, more kits and badges, bring back legends online
I'm a FIFA player but i think i will play PES 2014 much more than FIFA 14, because since PES 2014 pretty much improved (last time i played PES was PES 2011) unlike FIFA who has been exactly the same thing since FIFA 12, just some minor additions..
Pes 2014 will be released on July 25. So get ready.
I want to see a change in the crowds animations.
I.e, they are seated at first, but an attack develops, a cross comes in and they get on there feet. Someone heads it in and they start going mental. Would really add immersion to the game.

remember that goal keepers are improved, so the line gives nothing just to make a skillshot. goalkeepers will do their job, and will defend it anyways. :)
If this game was fully licensed it would get so many more sales!
if you actually check out the Wikipedia article for PES 2014, you'll see that all the leagues mentioned in the article are fully licensed. ofc Wikipedia isn't a reliable source but you never know. so far there hasn't been any announcement on what leagues will be licensed or not.

Hate when people complain about the licensing, Konami can't compete with EA financially so they can only obtain a certain amount of licenses of football teams. If its such an issue, just download an option file or patch on the pc version so that every team has their real crest and kits, not hard.

All I want is more in depth updated become a legend. Needs to be better and not as bland. All it is is playing matches over and over, we need something cool like kmadden gamed back in the day when your player got popular the background changed etc and you have to train your skills

no you can switch teams in both Master League and Become A Legend and even manage national teams.
PES is just add real physics this year while FIFA is already did since 2011. And if you say FIFA players move somewhere wierd, they are actually have more brilliant tactics and intellegence than PES players thanks to Ignite Engine. 360 ball control, FIFA 10 already has it.
I've NEVER been so hyped for a football game before. NEVER. This looks amazing.
