The mattress is still as comfortable as from the first time we used it . Another thing was wondering as well could you build something over generator to keep it quiet at night i know some lakes like here in the midwest will not allow generators overnight on a boat
At that point look into the battery generators. Some thing small enough that you can tie down a solar panel to charge it during the day but big enough to get you enough battery for the night
@@jonny6758 so you have to look at the power consumption of the ac unit you are trying to use (watts) and find a battery generator with enough watts/hour rating to run your unit for the night. Its gonna take some figuring out but im sure youll get it
At the time this was the boat i had and i just did what i could to make it work for me. You just have to make it work with what you have. My wife and i spent countless nights with this set up. I have a cabin cruiser now with all those options to include the generator and yes it is much easier cause i dont have to set anything up just fire up the gen, turn some switches on and done. I havent posted any videos cause i just havent had no time to edit.
@@forteluis no I meant like keep your door open and make like Styrofoam or a board Maybe like 1 bye cut out and put in replacement when the cuddy door is open

Just got a 89 proline 23’ cuddy cabin. My first big boat! I’m used to a stick steer 16 footer. Essentially a John Boat.

You could probably make a cut out where the door if you didn't have a port hole window but good set up
That’s something that I thought about but really did not want to cut a hole. I didn’t want to do any permanent modification.
