Thank you so much for ALL of your shared information. I was a marketing director for over 15 years and in web dev before that, and I am wanting to pivot to a SF position. I am 1/2 way through your Udemy course for the Admin certification. I researched a lot before choosing a course and even SF says you're the best! Thank you so much for being so willing to share all of your experiences and information.
I am glad to do it. Thank you for your kind words and I am glad you are finding the course helpful.
This is extremely helpful to me and my org! Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Hi thanks for this, is it possible to make a duplicate report for LEADS and CONTACTS? I want to merge leads to duplicate contacts, but I am not sure how? using the report.
Great video! Question... even though I selected Leads (A) with at least one related record from Duplicate Record Items (B), some of the results have no related records. Do you know why this could be?
In your opinion, is Salesforce's Duplicate Management powerful enough or in the real world is something like Duplicate Check needed?
I did exactly what you did and it didn't pull up any duplicated but I know for a fact that there are (I intensionally created duplicates to trigger the matching rules)
Make sure your matching rules and duplicate rule are activated.
Does it take into account all the duplicate object already existing in our CRM before you create this duplicate detection rule ?
It will only record potential duplicates if there are any potential matches triggered by existing duplicate rules. There are standard duplicate rules that may be in place in your org, otherwise there wouldn't be any recorded.
