All you need to know about the history of the death penalty in Utah is that not a single one has re-offended. 100% effective.

every state should be like Texas. Why make such a big deal of it. He did the crime. He was sentenced. Time to fulfill the sentence.

All states need to do how texas does their death sentence.. they get 18 months to do their appeals and once they are denied they get their death date

They sit on death row a lot longer than 18 months in Texas. It depends on the case. Some may be on death row for 8 years, while others are there for almost 30 years. I think Virginia had the best death penalty system. Prisoners were usually executed less than 10 years after their crimes.

How do you botch lethal injection

They don't use enough, too much, or cheap out on the drugs used so the body reacts badly and it prolongs their suffering and its pretty graphic how the body reacts and they do feel it. Their are ways of slowly and quietly putting someone to sleep and then killing them like one would a beloved pet a a veterinary office, but the state knows its expensive to do so for humans as we are HUGE compared to a companion animal, so they cut corners and that's how it gets botched.
Also sometimes they underestimate the drugs needed and the person barely survives and has to be done again which is insanely cruel to put a person though and your body will fight back to keep you alive, that process is miserable to be put through physically and emotionally. You cannot just give it all you got in one dose either as the body can react to keep you alive in a struggle with certain drugs so you have to get your math right on things the first time; not too much or too little. Its a dance of sorts to get things right.
That's how you botch it, used to work in a veterinary clinic so I do have some knowledge on the subject even if its a different field.

@@Luvtallhorses the only way really is not hitting a vein. Most ppl who do the IVs are officers. They really need to be taught how to hit a vein. Or go get a junkie can be his paid job 😂.

It’s almost like Honie is scared of the consequences of his actions? I wonder if this could be an effective way to deter violent crime? 🤔
