Toni's movie should have been on VH1 and the rest of the sisters could have had their own movie on lifetime showcasing their struggle to fame from the first family album, braxtons group. Tracis pregnancy, Trina's first baby daddy, Towanda and her meltdown, check fraud and her brief stint on Iyanlas Vanzants show 15 years ago "starting over" and Tamar's abusive relationships and getting beat up at school. I enjoyed the movie! The casting of the sisters and Pebbles was not the greatest nor was the Toni lip syncing, however, we got the story. They better make it longer than 2 hours though. They have alot of history & I would be disappointed If they rushed it or didn't go into acceptable detail.

Enjoyed the Toni Braxton movie. Next movie should be Mary J Blige. Since we all know she's been through alot and her story would be a great one. For me Whitney, Toni, Mariah and Mary J Blige were some of my favourites, especially through the 90's.

Great review of the movie! Your reviews are always hilarious! Debbie Morgan is a great actress! I was surprised to see Gavin Houston (Jeffrey from the Haves and the Have Nots) in the movie. The actor that played Toni Braxton's husband is from Loving You is Wrong (Tyler Perry's show). Overall I think that the movie was great! It covered a lot for it to be two hours long. Toni Braxton went through some hard times! Lawd! My favorite Toni Braxton songs are Unbreak My Heart, He Wasn't Man Enough, and Breathe Again. I'm glad that she returned back to music. ;-)I would love to see a movie about Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Mary J. Blige, Anita Baker, or Missy Elliot. OAS: Lol at nobody liking Pebbles. I wasn't aware of how much Toni did for her family and how much guilt she had over becoming a solo artist.

my ONLY problem with this movie was that she announced she has lupus to her sisters BEFORE the reality show. on the reality show the second first or second episode she made this "dinner announcement" when ALL the sisters "found" I remember how Tamar reacted.... so THAT part got me the shifty eye
I thought the BFV scene was when she had to have a surgery not when she had just announced the lupus. Her parents and everyone knew but they didn't know how to tell Tamar because she's sensitive. I thought ?

I enjoyed the movie! The casting of the sisters and Pebbles was not the greatest nor was the Toni lip syncing, however, we got the story. I loved the story within the marriage...how she tried to keep it going.
I love all of her early songs. Btw, I did have the opportunity to work with and she is one of the nicest people in the world.
