I still don’t understand now… I’m new to all comers and I cannot figure out. How do I print out all of the orders that I need to process. I can’t process from a computer I have to make a product. I need to have the order details physically in my hand to work from. How do I get a physical copy of these orders?
You have to give someone full admin privileges to WordPress to change orders? or Reship orders, or create an order? Another issue we have is when there is not total on the order it is hard to determine the proper shipping. For example, if they order 1 pack of hair dye for 12.98 but have it shipped priority we cannot determine if it was shipped priority or first class. It takes up a lot of time having to look up the order.
Thanks for the tutorial, all though, the one thing I was hoping to learn, wasn't there. :-) The e-mails, that are sent to the customer during the ordering process, such as order confirmation, order completion etc., are they sent automatically, when you update the status in Order Actions? I'm getting some feedback from new WooCommerce shop managers, that it's all good if e-mails are sent automatically upon status change. But the managers would like to see a confirmation, that the e-mail has actually been sent. Something like: "Order status updated. E-mail is sent the customer". :-)
Hi Alex! Thank you for the feedback and sorry that bit of information wasn't covered in this video. I've added this as a note to the script for a revision soon! :) You bring up a good point. For example say you have the Completed order email enabled. That will send when the order status is changed to completed and only if the shop manager then selects Save order. It won't send right as you pick different statuses. Very nice informative helpful video. I have been receiving order notifications(email) via my printful POD plugin, but nothing from woocommerce ,can i get my orders in confirmation from Woo ?
I am receiving email processing information of the order, but it is no where to be found in my WooCommerce orders tab. How can I go about troubleshooting this? Thank you!
Thanks for the video. Do all orders need to go from "On Hold" to any status by us, as merchants or is all statuses automatic? I'm not sure why I have an order that went to "Cancelled" when the customer did not do that. It must have been me accidentally but I don't know what I did when I didn't touch anything in the control panel, but the store got the payment and is fulfilling the order so not sure why WooCoommerce is showing it as "Cacncelled." Are all statuses a manual process by the merchant or is it automated? Thanks!
