I've only ever tried dried fava beans. Great idea to serve it on some tahini, that adds some creaminess. Another world flavour, thanks for bringing all these dishes around the world. So colourful. Flatbread was so easy! I love how there's no yeast.

Hi! Yes, of course! They are also called Broad Beans, maybe that's how you can find them? Or in an Arabic section? Mine are actually from the GOYA brand, which I think you also have in the US. I think it's also really good with any type of black bean or pinto bean. 😍
Hi Coeshi! Thanks so much for watching and your question. Normally I soak them overnight and the cook them for about 1 hour. TIPP: If you add sodium biocarbonate to the cooking water, any beans cook so much faster. Theoretically you could immediately start cooking them (when they are raw), although then they need about 8 hours. I cooked them once until they were soft and then just another 15 minutes with less liquid together with the spices until they are creamy. Does that answer your question? 😍
