Love-love these window pocket flips. Think I will make some for my Bible. Good to see yours up close & it wasn't blurry. Thank you for doing a fourth one. Nice to see different designs & patterns. Your were beautiful. God bless 🌈🙏🌈.
I drove with my four kids from La Pine Oregon to Florida to go to Disney and then up to Pennsylvania. No gps and no cell phone. I had the whole trip mapped out and my son decided to be the map guy. I can’t believe we made it. The next time we went we went the northern route and it was just crazy with four kids. I must have been looney. Great video today Gayle. Watched Rachel yesterday so knew what you were going to do. Fun way to watch more than one person do the same thing. Hugs🌺💝🌸
Good morning Gayle....so happy that I have a stack of window envelopes saved up...so I can get going with your and Rachel’s inspiration flip...so many wonderful crafters to watch on UA-cam...thanks for sharing and making staying home so much easier...hugs and ❤️ from Minnesota ☃️❄️❄️❄️
Isn't it amazing what you can make from the things most people would throw away. I love the saying " One man's junk is another man's treasure" it sure does fit crafters !!! These are wonderful !! I can identify with your story about taking that trip to Flagstaff by you're self. I'm going g to be flying to DFW TX all by myself on the 3rd of next month. I've flown before and love it, but never by myself. I'm nervous to say the least. I use a Walker on longer trips and will be leaving it at the entrance of the plane to go into the luggage compartment. Carrying my bag and maybe my purse and have to put my bag in the overhead has me worried too. I had two of my grandsons with me last time I flew and they took good care of my bag. This time I'm on my own !!! Thank God I'm meeting me daughter in law at Dallas and she will be the one driving through Dallas
Enjoyed your work travel ✈️ stories. I can totally relate to how little things make you happy - looking forward to your yummy lunch, spending a day crafting. People who don’t get it may think my life is small but I believe it’s knowing what’s truly important & feeling grateful I’m able to share it with my husband (like you, my Mike is my best friend) 💕
Not blurry at all. Oh your business travel stories are so similar to mine. Brings back some awesome memories. Driving in a large city with no GPS or cell phone. Only have a map with directions that didn’t help much while driving. My business travels were for learning new and updated payroll systems for my job. They were week long training. Such adventures. Glad I’m retired now to. Though it would have been nice to have had GPS back then. Your Rachel ephemera turned out great. Thank you for sharing 🤗
I’d say you got two and a half done in 45 minutes.... I enjoyed your travel stories, it reminded me of my work training travels and traveling to see my two military kids where they were stationed. I got to visit my daughter in Okinawa (I flew in and out of Tokyo) and a couple years later visited her in Mildenhall England and flew in and out of London. Both trips by myself...those were really fun times! I visited my son a few times in San Diego and it was beautiful too.
Thank you for doing Rachel’s weekly challenge. The more time I see things being made the better the chance is that I’ll be able make it!! Haha! Your travel story reminded me of my own travel disasters back in the “olden days”!! Kids today have no idea how easy they have it, well, in normal times, remember those?? I don’t think travel right now sounds like something I’d want to try! Hope you’re having a blessed Christmas season, thank you for all your wonderful videos!
Who would guess that window envelopes could be so darn cute! OH YES, I remember the days of "your slip is showing"! Hahahaha! It seems to silly now but that was a really big deal and to be avoided at all costs! That had not even crossed my mind in many, many, many years! Thanks for the big giggle Gayle.
I live near Branson, MO, where we had a horrible duck boat incident a few years ago. One sunk during a storm and killed several people, including most of an entire family. They’re super dangerous! I’m glad your boat tour went without incident. I enjoyed hearing your travel stories. Heck, I enjoy all your stories! And these envelopes turned out really cute!
I enjoyed hearing your travel tales. It's good to be able to laugh after the stress of the event is no longer tangible. Reminded me of my own first international flight. All I can say is there are some very ascerbic customs officials.
I always enjoy your stories so much, Gayle! Our generation knows that life was very different without mobile phones, gps devices and internet. It makes for some fun stories to share with the new generations 🤗❤️
You’re so funny! Love your laughter and voice! Time ran away with ya! I know how that feels. Happens to me all the time. Love your rendition of your flips. I never save my envelopes. Oh dear must start doing that.
Good Morning Gayle! Well this was fun and they are all super cute but my favorite is the one with the bee on it. Enjoyed hearing your traveling stories, I have some of my own but we don't have enough time for that. Lol! Enjoyed watching your process and thanks for the video. Have a beautiful day, take care!
We were on the wrong side of the Adirondack mountains on a road trip years ago too with our little ones. 5 hours out of the way! Those are the trips that make memories though! Have been saving envelopes and I’m excited to try this flip out! Thanks for another great video!
Oh gosh Gayle, your trip to Flagstaff story, I am so glad you made it. I always say our airport and our roads are signed only for those who know where they are going. Love these challenges. Hugs!
Gayle that was so much fun listening to your adventure. I wish I knew you then when you visited Boston, I live in the heart of everything, right by the Charles River and Boston Duck Tours passes by my window a lot!, they are seasonal. I think they used to be war tankers/ Land and water. It is fun when you are riding on them in the city then they plunge in the water. I am Glad you got to see how beautiful and historic Boston is. I am 5 minutes away from Faneuil Hall. You might have visited that as well. They are building tons of new buildings around me now though, just kind sad; huge developments!
I love Boston! My sister lives about 20 minutes east of Boston. I would visit her with my two boys every year. We were picnicking at Boston Commons and a swan kept chasing my youngest son around. He was terrified! Another time we were in Boston for a replica tour of Christopher Columbus' Santa Maria ship. The aquarium is amazing too!
ok, I give in. I saw Rachel's video challenge making these envelope pockets thingy's and thought what a cool idea. But now since you had so much fun doing yours as well I'm gonna have to give this a go....I've got an idea or two for mine. This really is a unique idea for junk envelopes!
Loved your travel stories today Gayle. Besides enjoying several trips to the U.S. with my husband, our quilter’s group had chartered a bus and visited a different location every year. Such an experience and fun to visit so many different places! Hopefully the days will return when travel is possible again, in the meantime feeling grateful to be safe in my craft room!🥰🇨🇦
Beautifully done! Love them! Little sister and I had to drive from Phoenix to Payson Arizona which is just below Flagstaff, to be with Mom, who was having a mastectomy; so I know the drive and it wasn’t fun for us since it was well before cell phones, but at least we had each other to be scared with! I could not make that trip alone! You were so brave even if you did cry later. Wow! Another experience we have in common… 😊 Those pocket flip envelopes are amazing, more new things to try! Hugs! 🤗🌸🤗
I love the envelope flap pocket, I can’t wait to make one ! I totally understand how you felt regarding the driving adventure, and then the problem is you have to drive back again! Here in the UK there is a Duck boat in London. Several years ago it caught fire and the passengers had to jump into the river Thames. Thankfully no one died. Thank you again for your crafty inspiration and friendly company !
I agree with you on this project being fun...when I watched Rachel do hers the other day I got excited to try it. Yours turned out just lovely Gayle and your stories are always enjoyable. 🥰❤️
Love how your envelopes turned out!! Not blurry up close. 😄 Your trip story to Flagstaff cracked me up. Before we do our yearly road trip in August, my husband spends months prior looking at Google maps. By the time we hit the road he knows every highway we take and every landmark we'll see!! This year we're doing Idaho & Montana again, but adding 2 extra weeks to see my brother in Utah. So excited to hit the road again!! 💜
Got an envelope cut and ready - now I have to shut you down and go make one! Fun idea from Roxy and you! Loved hearing your travel commentary too I was fortunate enough to have a similar experience in my job before retiring - got to travel to Vegas, New York City, Chicago, L.A and many customer visits too. Good Times and Memories.
Gayle this was awesome. Your camera is in focus. I just discovered that I want all your scraps. I’m so grateful that some of the community is offering to print digitals. I’m humbled to be in this community. ❤️❤️❤️
Haha I love your travel story. I've always been that way. No sense of direction. Then I panic. Your envelopes turned out beautiful. I think you did well. Took me 2 hours to do one. 😖
These turned out really cute. I made one after watching Rachel but it seemed a little plain. After watching you I realized I hadn't decorated it! Hopefully a butterfly or two will help. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
Oh, Gayle, you´re MY "scrambled eggs"! I get excited watching YOU every day!!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations and for just being you. Hug Baby Yoda for me!!! Hugs, Rita.
I love listening to you! I don't remember my first plane trip since I was only months old but the other one I do since I was 18 years old. It was from Knoxville, TN to Paris Island, SC. Got off that last puddle jumper that went through a thunder storm to get yelled at by drill instructors. At the time I think I would have rather the unmarked exit. LOL
Good for you for making it out of the airport in Phoenix. I live in the Phoenix area and have been to the airport many times. I always have trouble knowing which lane to be in so I don't end up on the wrong highway. At least the road to Flagstaff is a straight shot once you get on Hwy 17. I hope you had time to go to Sedona while you were there. It's quite the attraction with the red rocks .
I did go to Sedona on that trip. Then many years later we rented a house there with our friends. We hiked to every sacred place. It was a wonderful trip! ❤️
Love these....can’t wait to make! And the “Olden days” wow kids today REALLY have no idea....it’s almost hard to believe we survived times like that LOL n yes it was scary traveling that way!!!!
Many, many years ago my late husband's boss sent us to Atlanta for him to attend some training. They paid for me to go too. The beginning of the trip was a disaster. We were flying out of our town's airport to SF but that was cancelled because of rain/fog so we were re-routed to LAX. We missed that flight and got a later one. By the time we got to the airport in GA (not sure if it was ATL or not - was over an hour away) it was past midnight. The car rental place was closed. His boss had flown ahead of us so hubby called and woke him up and made him come get us. By the time we got to our hotel, they had already given our room to someone else and were full so they arranged to have us stay at a hotel across the street and would have our room the next day. By the time we got checked in it was after 3 am. My husband got up before he had to be at class and his boss took him to get our rental car. he came back and left the key and it was in the parking lot. I was asleep/groggy and didn't have the sense to ask where it was parked. So when I got up I called the front desk for help getting our bags out to the car. I didn't even know we were on the 1st floor of the hotel. We found the car. I got checked in to the original hotel and the rest of the trip was lots of fun. It was before we had cell phones but I took the car and drove all over. I knew the the hotel was on Peachtree and that was a belt loop fwy and I figured I could ask someone or call the hotel!
You've got me spoiled to distressing everything. I watching Roxy Creations & it doesn't bother me. Weird, huh ?? Great job on your envelopes. Loves your stories. I've always wanted to go to D.C.
The baby Yoda stories are hilarious. First of all there was the show and tell when you received him. Then there was the hump in the bed that would not go away. Today is the recommendation of him for those who have trouble sleeping. Really Gayle 😂 It makes me want to ask to have him make another little appearance on one of your videos. Maybe he could give hi and hugs to all of us subbies 🤣❤️
I am from Branson MO and yes, this is where the Duck Boat sank. 17 died in that terrible accident. There is still litigation going on regarding that incident.
Oh gosh, Joyce, that sure gave me pause after hearing of that accident. We were in the middle of the St. Charles River and would’ve surely drowned if something happened. 😬. Those duck boats are from WWII, so are old and have seen better days. Yikes. ❤️
Good morning Gayle I seen on this Lady's UA-cam channel she had done some window belly bans they are really neat her channel is Cathy's Garden I thought of you when I saw these
Love these....can’t wait to make! And the “Olden days” wow kids today REALLY have no idea....it’s almost hard to believe we survived times like that LOL n yes it was scary traveling that way!!!! I hated when ppl would say go east go north WHAT I had no clue 🙈🤪🤣
We are birds of a feather when it comes to traveling alone! I so identified with your story. How did we ever survive without cell phones an gps! 😅 I love this project, will give it a try! Also, your close up was not blurry 😊
Love these🥰. I found a Thomas guide when cleaning my garage and my daughter said, “what is that for?” 😂🤣. I told her it was a paper GPS 😉. I went to HL yesterday to get book corners. I found a 2020 planner on the clearance rack for $1.49 I bought it to collage in. Thanks for all your inspiration ❤️
Great job Gayle, they look wonderful! And NOT BLURRY when you held them up, they stayed in focus nicely. It's nice to see them close up! The only thing I'm a little confused about is how you're gonna put a tag in there without interfering with the whole window view thingee. Could you show one with a tag in it? I just can't picture it like if the tag has to be super skinny or what...thanks for another lovely chat!
Yes! I think I show the tags in an upcoming video. The tag just changes the “picture” that shows through the window. Then when the tag is removed, you still see the pretty picture behind it from the page if that makes sense. 😁❤️
It was funny that you said you watched Rachel’s video before you went to sleep. I fell asleep watching it last night. Apparently now I don’t have to finish watching it because I can watch you. I got my first Covid vaccine yesterday evening so I was feeling a little bit like my tongue was large and my lips were tingling so I took a diphenhydramine just in case which makes me go to sleep. I’m fine today my arm just hurts.
Love-love these window pocket flips. Think I will make some for my Bible. Good to see yours up close & it wasn't blurry. Thank you for doing a fourth one. Nice to see different designs & patterns. Your were beautiful. God bless 🌈🙏🌈.

I loved how they turned out! Thanks for sharing your stories. You had me giggling.

Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota Florida is the best!!!! My aunt lives there. LOVE it! I might add a hinge and keep the envelope closed. TYFS!😀
These turned out great. Fun flips.
These envelopes will be so pretty in a journal, thanks for taking us along on your challenge.....so enjoyable! Have a great day and hugs from Texas!
Lots of fun! Close ups look good! I will be creating these for sure!
These are beautiful Gayle!

Haha I love your travel story. I've always been that way. No sense of direction. Then I panic. Your envelopes turned out beautiful. I think you did well. Took me 2 hours to do one. 😖
These are super cute Gayle, love listening to your stories, you had some great times. hugs xxxxx
These turned out really cute. I made one after watching Rachel but it seemed a little plain. After watching you I realized I hadn't decorated it! Hopefully a butterfly or two will help. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
Hi Gayle, Distress is Best! Your close up was good 👍.
🤣🙄I love your simplicity n excitement of crafting n scrambled eggs!!! Sounds perfect to me!!!!! Working 12-8 today blah!!!!!
Ugh. Hope you have a good day anyway! Take care, dear one! ❤️
LOL
😂🤣😂❤️
I made some of these myself today. I made one using a digital of yours. They were fun to do! Thanks for sharing!
Love the manner in which you decorate these envelopes. Where did you get your ticket display books from? They are very cute and practical.
These look fun. Now I need to go see Rachel’s version. Thank you Gayle. Sounds like you had lots of fun traveling. Hugs, Amy❤️
These are soooo cute! Thanks for the idea.
Enjoyed spending this time with you and now going to make these envelopes! Crafting with envelopes is alwaysfun!!
You are just what I needed this morning. Thank you, Gayle, for making my day cheery and bright.
Add a big old squishy hug from your friend to your day too! 🤗❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct wow, that was a good one! I felt it all the way over here in WA. You are a great hugger!
Hi Gayle. Love these envelope windows. Can you please tell me where you get those green caps that you put on your glue bottle? Thank you.
Mary Lynn , I believe she got them at Hobby Lobby in the sewing section..it’s where I got mine from. You can get them from Amazon also.
I actually got mine at Hobby Lobby in the knitting/yarn department. They are knitting needle caps. ❤️
Gayle Agostinelli , Yeah mine were found right by the sewing things..lol
I loved your stories of traveling and how your envelopes turned out... ❤️❤️❤️
It well nice gale you shock me every time x
I worked on these yesterday. It’s a challenge for me because I haven’t done much collage. But I am pleasantly surprised at how pretty they are.
In England those trips for work we all Jolly’s (as they are just fun lol)
Beautiful job. Not blurry at all.
I use to go to seminars/workshops at the colleges I worked for too. You would of been a hoot to travel with...so much gun❣
Cool collage flippy things! Had a rough day. So good to watch your video and learn something new💕🐬hugs
Thinking of you and hoping today is a better day! ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Awww Gayle, you brought a smile to my face and a hug to my heart🤗 Thank you so much for sharing kindness💖🐬
I'll try this one, Gayle!
Oh! I took that little puddle jumper to Flagstaff! 😬😳
Cute...cute....on my To Do List! And you can have scrambled eggs in a slip tomorrow...ha ha!
Yes Gayle that happened in Branson,Mo. Several people drowned. One whole family except the Mother that didn't go. Sad. It was called the Duck
😢😢❤️
I love listening to your stories reminds me of my trips beautiful collage today
Love these....can’t wait to make! And the “Olden days” wow kids today REALLY have no idea....it’s almost hard to believe we survived times like that LOL n yes it was scary traveling that way!!!!
Many, many years ago my late husband's boss sent us to Atlanta for him to attend some training. They paid for me to go too. The beginning of the trip was a disaster. You've got me spoiled to distressing everything. I watching Roxy Creations & it doesn't bother me. Weird, huh ?? Great job on your envelopes. Loves your stories. I've always wanted to go to D.C.
Yes! I feel the same...gotta distress mine, but Rachel’s look just fine. Don’t know. ??? 😂❤️
😂. He is THE best! I tell you, I haven’t had a bad night’s sleep since I got him! 😂😍❤️
Yikes. ❤️
Hi, Joyce! I’m near Branson, too. This was so awful; I felt so bad for that poor lady who lost most of her family.
Cute, enjoyed your talk and video while I was prepping my business planner for February. Ya, I’m a little behind...
Been saving my window envelopes...another fun idea to try!! TFS 😊💖🤗
Ready to start my collection of Envelopes I saved!🎉🎈Thank You
Gayle ❤️
Good morning Gayle I seen on this Lady's UA-cam channel she had done some window belly bans they are really neat her channel is Cathy's Garden I thought of you when I saw these
Beautifully done
Thank you
Love these....can’t wait to make! And the “Olden days” wow kids today REALLY have no idea....it’s almost hard to believe we survived times like that LOL n yes it was scary traveling that way!!!! I hated when ppl would say go east go north WHAT I had no clue 🙈🤪🤣
The memories we have without phones or anything. How did we do it. I love watching the envelope challenge. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.😍🌴
Good morning good morning! Thanks for sharing! Blessings💕
Morning Tanna! ❤️
Really enjoyed!!
Thanks!
😊 video was focused and clear up close 😊.
👍😁❤️
Do you have a video about your idea journal? I want to make one for myself to keep all the ideas I find.
Those are so precious,thank you!
Lovely and the memories are so fun to hear!! I'm the story teller in our family. 🥰🐞😅
I'll just rewind you and I'll have more time 😉❤️Great show thank you for sharing!!
Thank you for sharing! I’ve haven’t had the courage to try the junk envelopes! 🤪
Glad you got it, Lyn! 👍❤️
I don't separate my envelope. I add a hinge to make my flip.
