OK. Let's look at the game series in-order of appearance from the video;
- *Sonic The Hedgehog* (1991)
- *Sonic The Hedgehog 2* (1992)
- *Sonic CD* (1993)
- *Sonic Spinball* (1993), yeap... that is exactly what it sounds like... Sonic but he is a pinball.
- *Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine* (1993), Dr. Eggman's design is based off Sonic The Hedgehog TV series (1993-1994). "Snooping as usual" is an iconic line that he said from that TV series.
- Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles (1994)
- *Knuckles' Chaotix* (1995), this was the game that introduces Team Chaotix which included Espio the Chameleon, Vector the Crocodile, Charmy Bee as the main members with Knuckles the Echidna and Mighty the Armadillo as being additional members. It had a weird gimmick called Ring Power which two characters are paired together with Bound Rings. Cas van de Pol practically made a joke about Bound Rings and choked poor Espio. It doesn't matter, the Chaotix are quite forgettable.
- *Sonic R* (1997), the first 3D Sonic racing game. The controls were really what made this game quite iconically infamous. You do practically that if you are not familiar with the controls. I like how Cas van de Pol just grab the gameplay from that game and slap on 2D animations to the characters.
- *Sonic Adventure* (1998), the first 3D Sonic platform game. The plot is mainly to defeat the water lifeform Chaos at different stages. The game has missions where you get to play as different characters. Big the Cat's missions are all about fishing and trying to catch his frog named Froggy.
- *Sonic Adventure 2* (2001). City Escape is an iconic level from this game where Sonic runs down the San Francisco like streets. Running through cars like it is nobody's business. There's no people Sonic runs through in that level. That is just a way for Cas van de Pol to show UA-cam that his videos AREN'T MADE FOR KIDS!!! The unique thing about this game is the Chao Garden game mode, where you go into a cute sanctuary and not only breed but also hang out with the cute Chao which are these blue creatures. Yes, Eggman does say "Yosh" when he pats a Chao. Unfortunately, the sad reality is that Chao comes from eggs. So yeah, think of Chao as chickens.
Oh yeah, another thing about Sonic Adventure 2, it also introduces Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat and Omega-123. Rouge is yeah... known for her suggestive appearance which thankfully has dialed down in recent appearances. Sonic Adventure 2's plot is primarily around the creation of Shadow the Hedgehog which is later shown and retconned later on.
- *Sonic Heroes* (2003). This game is known for the playable teams gimmick. You get to complete levels and defeat both Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic with teams of 3 and you can switch the current character you play as in that team. Each character is split into 3 categories; Speed, Power or Flight. Speed allows you to go fast with the other characters being behind you, Flight allows you to fly with the other characters pillared below you and you can throw them to destroy enemies and obstacles. Power allows the other two characters to appear beside you and... throw them at enemies and obstacles.
There is 4 teams in Sonic Heroes each with their own missions and their take of the story. In-order to complete the whole game and unlock the final boss, you need to complete all 4 stories to unlock the final boss.
The 4 teams are; Heroes (Sonic, Tails and Knuckles), Team Rose (Amy Rose, Cream the Rabbit + Cheese the Chao and Big the Cat), Dark (Shadow, Rouge and Omega), and Chaotix (Espio, Charmy and Vector).

- *Shadow The Hedgehog* (2005), the game where you play as a different character instead of Sonic. What happens when you have a dark story with weapons and missions where you get to change the story? Yeah, you get Shadow The Hedgehog. If you think Sonic Heroes' game completion was a grind, in Shadow The Hedgehog, you need to complete all possible story outcomes to unlock the final boss and the end of the story. It is about Shadow's backstory which was practically noted in Sonic Adventure 2... that also probably got retconned.
- *Sonic Rush* (2005), the Sonic game that is on the Nintendo DS. The story was pretty average but you do get to play as both Sonic or the new character at the time - Blaze the Cat. Kinda ironic now that you get the point. Blaze is from a different dimension where she collects Sol Emeralds instead of Chaos Emeralds, so she's actually similar to Sonic with the exception that she has fire powers.
- *Sonic The Hedgehog* (2006), the most broken and rushed Sonic game... also the most cringiest. The blink and you miss it image that appears from all of that loading (6:33 on your video. It's very quick.) was actually showing Silver's reaction to Sonic kissing a human named Princess Elise. It cause a HUGE uproar in the community and combined with how broken the game was... it makes sense why fans don't like Sonic '06. That kinda sucks since that was the game Silver the Hedgehog debuted in.
- *Sonic Riders* (2006-2010), a pretty solid Sonic racing game. It introduced the Babylon Rogues and it spawned a couple of sequels. Unfortunately, it stopped after the third game, Sonic Free Riders... cause it was made exclusively on the Xbox 360 and required a Kinect unlike the first game and Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity.
- *Sonic and the Secret Rings* (2007), first game of the Sonic Storybook series where you put Sonic characters in to replace the characters that's in the actual story. This one is based off Arabian Nights. Unfortunately, this Storybook series was made exclusively to Wii... and the controls were terrible.
- *Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games* (2008- now), the crossover we have been waiting. It is Mario versus Sonic at Olympic sports. It is quite a fun series of games that is released every Summer and Winter Olympics. It started with Beijing 2008 and is still going.
- *Sonic Unleahsed* (2008), Sonic but he is a Werehog at night thanks to the Chaos Emeralds being corrupted which also broke the planet into pieces. Your job is practically to get all the emeralds back and put the pieces back together. The final boss is actually quite challenging and freaky, but if you were playing on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions... the Eggmanland level is actually a grueling 45 minute long level. Unleashed wasn't received well at launch but is now favored years later by many Sonic fans. It is an underrated gem.
- *Sonic and the Black Knight* (2009), the second and thankfully last game in the Sonic Storybook series. This time, King Arthur. It is actually fine but it also has controls as its problem.

- *Sonic Colors* (2010) & *Sonic Colors: Ultimate* (2021). Sonic needs to save these Wisps from the evil Dr. Eggman who is using them to power a planetary theme park. Ultimate is practically an enhanced remaster with some new features. The balloon wisp isn't a real thing. It is just fans being weird and created overweight Sonic.
- *Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing* (2010-2012). Sonic racing with Sega characters. It was very much like Mario Kart. It was pretty successful that it created a sequel, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed that allows you to transform into a car, boat or plane. Due to it being a copycat of Mario Kart, it also spun off a lot of different companies making their own rip of Mario Kart with their own franchises. The less we think about Vin Diesel, the better.
- *Sonic Generations* (2011). Modern Sonic being forced to go back in time thanks to a time being that Eggman hijacked. Modern Sonic meets up with Classic Sonic. It was actually really good for its time.
- *Sonic Lost World* (2013). It is a rip off of Super Mario Galaxy, especially down to the world design. No surprise, everyone hates it. It did however got some pretty cool DLC, especially with one being set in The Legend of Zelda and one being set in Yoshi's Wolly World.
- *Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric* (2014). A game that became a game series and a TV series. The TV series is a bit more enjoyable than the games, even though it lasted 2 seasons. The controls weren't great in Rise of Lyric, and the character redesigns is what threw fans off completely.
- *Sonic Forces* (2017). Main gimmick is being able to make your playable Avatar. Forces however had a pretty bland story with the villain Infinite and really short levels.
- *Sonic Mania* (2017). A game that brings you back to the good old Sonic platform days with new levels and enemies. Very good for retro Sonic gamers as well as new ones. No surprise why it is often compared to Sonic The Hedgehog (1991). The cool thing is that the developer was actually a guy that made fanmade high quality ports of the classic Sonic The Hedgehog games.
- *Sonic Frontiers* (2022). A Sonic game if it was more open and acted like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is actually a good solid Sonic game. The boss fights were actually easy if you learnt how to parry. It however has issues of its own. Parts of the open level pops in and out very frequently in the background.
- *The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog* (2023). A Sonic game but if it was a visual-novel. As it turns out, it was very interesting and fans are loving it... even though it is only on Steam.

Sega's been pumping out alot of multimedia content, so it's probably just more relevant for the general audience

Seeing all these Sonic games in a video is pure funny and nostalgia for me. As I played around half of the sonic games but some I never played before. 😅 Your reaction to them is so priceless and enjoyable

Sonic has had many TV shows over the years but the ones that you're talking about are
Sonic X (linear episodes) Sonic's successful attempt at Anime.
Sonic Boom (Episodic comedy) A more comedic approach that was successful as a show... but terrible as a game (The ballon thing with knuckles was a glitch in one of the games where you can fly infinitely and basically cheese everything.)
Sonic Prime (linear episodes) An ongoing series that's about multiverses in it's own nice way. In my opinion the series is great so far.
Characters you seemed confused about:
The white bat is named Rouge and she's meant to be the classy sexy woman, but has grown past just being for innuendos.
The purple one is a chameleon named Espio. He's from a ninja clan and is part of a team called the Chaotix, his partners are charmy (The bee that he swatted) Vector (the Crocodile with a chain) and Knuckles.
