I had a Peavey 5150 Signature model back in the early 2000's that I eventually sold for a JSX. I always regretted selling the 5150, so about a year ago I sold the JSX for a 6505+ (5150 II). Now, I kinda miss the JSX lol.

Love the JSX, XXX, 3120 amps better than the 5150 and 6505+ all day long! Wish I still had my 3120 which was a beast of an amp especially with my BBE Sonic Maximizer in the loop since it doesn’t have resonance/presence knobs. Turns it kinda into a boost as well and into a fire breather! I’m not much for using the Sonic Maximizer on most amps but it really made a difference with the 3120. Love the videos as always!

Super underrated amps! I think the affordability put them in the hands of inexperienced owners plus a little bit of design and QC flaws gave them a bad rep, always wanted the 333XL
Put a patch cable in the loop and set to unity gain. Gives the power section more girth and thump.
