Very interesting. I notice you had the preamp off on the IC-765 though, which could have made quite a bit of difference on 18MHz.

Let's see... 2.8 Khz filter receive (Icom) vs. 2.3 Khz receive bandwidth (Drake). Of course the 765 is going to sound better in a video.....
