Hahaha!! He definitely needs a bib, or to shave his beard. 😂 Bib would probably be easier to convince him to do though. Thanks for always commenting and being here!
What an adventure!!! I’ve always seen photos of the famous Katmai bears but never the other details you’ve included. Thank you for doing that, I was always curious. Happy travels!!
As always, thank you so much for sharing such an adventure with us poor saps still trapped under the yoke of jobs lol. But seriously Sheila and I enjoy each video you both share. Wow ya'll got some great footage of those bears doing their thing, truly beautiful. LoL the beard doggie bag, I know those pains as well. Sheila is always on me too about it lmao. You both keep living your best life and enjoy the journey not only the destinations and always safe travels.
Thanks so much!! That means the world to us and it’s truly comments like this that keep us inspired. Brian definitely has a beard doggie bag. 🤣😂🤣 Hope you guys have a great rest of your day!
A wonderful video! Great overview of the experience for us bucket listers ;-) Amazing shots of brown bear interaction! And bonus porcupine! I really enjoy the music you pair with views. Thank you!
I agree such a awesome video, Thank you so much for filming and sharing it I have never been to Alaska love nature. South Carolina on the coast so different . Thanks again.
@@nanscott3362 Hi in South Carolina! Thank YOU for the wonderful comment! We appreciate you sharing how much you enjoyed it. Comments like this keep us going. 😊
SO. MANY. BEARS!!! I watched this episode with my Grandma. Her mouth was like 😮 the entire time 🤣 Wow this video was just extra beautiful for some reason. Time to go get Wes!!!
OMG! If you sat down and watched this with your grandma and she liked it, then we've done our job. That fills our hearts so much. Thank you for sharing! 🥰
Great video!! Redo the title and name the bears you saw!! The video will take off because Fat Bear Week is coming!! You showed Chunk, 747, Ben and I think Grazer.
Thanks so much! Would love to hear what you’d suggest as a viewer. We’re still trying to learn what gets attention and what doesn’t, so appreciate the insight!
Thanks for sharing your experience at Katmai with us. Great fun facts as always. And yes, the lodge food was delicious for all you can eat. Definitely worth it if you go hungry. I loved the indoor fire pit. I'm so excited you visited the Valley of 10,000 Smokes. Honestly that was my favorite part is Katmai. The history behind the Novarupta eruption and how it affected the nearby Alaska Native communities. I haven't seen any other RV / vlog channel talk about this amazing place. And yes, like Brian, I agree that it looks like southern Utah landscape. Another great video!
Thanks so much for all the love!! Totally agree on all of that. The lodge was a great place to hang and had good food for being so remote. Also glad you enjoyed seeing the Valley of 10,000 Smokes. We would love to backpack through there someday. We talked to some guys that had just gotten back from that and they said it was such a great experience! It was also fascinating and sad to hear about the impact Novaerupta had. So incredible that no one died in that.
Love your content! So look forward to any new ones you got and absolutely love the Alaska videos! Talk about bucket list. I really love when you vlog and just take us along with you guys. The voiceovers are interesting but we especially love you guys just talking and sharing. I’m sharing your videos with the family! We love them!!! Thank you for sharing!! 🫶🏻
Awe!! Thanks so much for commenting and sharing! That means the world to us! We’re trying to get better so we can have minimal voiceover, but sometimes we get so caught up in the moment and forget to explain everything. 😅 Thanks again for being here!
Thanks! It really depends on where you were viewing them from. Sometime it was 10 yards and other times it was 100 yards. In the high traffic areas, they have platforms setup that keep you pretty safe.

Awesome vid of the bears. So powerful yet they seemed pretty chill. I ain't lyin', Brian--I'd fear less the lion!

Did you ever think about Timothy Treadwell while you we're camping. The man who got eaten by a bear. His girlfriend as well.
