This is my neighborhood. Sad to see Mr.Miller stuff sold, he lived to over 100+ and was a staple in our neighborhood. Hope people find joy with his stuff....
@@DSGLABEL oh wow. Over 100. Sounds and looks like he had an amazing and interesting life!
@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter yes he was a water purification guy. Then when he retired. He got into photography. He would take pictures of the park. It was common to see him out there with his camera and super lens! LOL. He took wonderful pictures and even made a calendar we could purchase. I had many conversations with him while looking at the water. We are trying to get a statue of him in the park. If the city will allow it.
@@DSGLABELThank you for sharing about the homeowner. Sounds like a neat guy!
I’m here because of George the antique nomad. What’s the best way to find out about estate sales in NY, especially in central and southern tier NY?
@@DSGLABELthat would be amazing!
The frog is an old childs toy. You flip the little clip on bottom towards the back and set frog down and it hops one hop.
Thank you! 🐸
I love that you walk us through the house and don’t “just” show us tables of treasures. I really appreciate that! Great treasure hunting!
@@allysonmartin3161 thank you. I try to keep it real!
Prime Time putting himself in hazardous conditions to get us the content we all crave. :) Great sale and video.
@@JMidwestern thank you. Love bringing you exciting content
Stick the holder with the melted candle in the freezer and after awhile the wax should pop out.
@@mreed71 thanks!
Really enjoy your estate sale videos! You always find the most intriguing homes - It was fun to see you pop up on George’s recent video 😊
Thanks so much! That was a fun collab! George is great!
Tin in basement, wallets on bureau, linens in closet, carved wood figurine on frig, the huge painting of racing horses. 😊
Yours are the only premieres that seem to slow down my week! I'm always looking forward to seeing what you find!
@@funcle_kevin I’m honored to hear that!
Thank you for the house tour. We recently sold our home that we had lived in, in Pennsylvania for 16 years, built-in 1925. That's where I started my eBay business, selling things that were left up in the attic from the former homeowner. Cool walk down memory lane.
@@wiggiq995 such a great story! Thanks for sharing!
My step-dad (RIP) was born in Saratoga Springs, so i enjoy seeing old items from Saratoga.
Glad to bring back some memories
Such a lovely home with that stone walkway. Must have some beautiful family history. The items are very nice vintage treasures, most definitely.
@@DRventura333 thank you so much. I am glad that you enjoyed the house and the video.
It's a sweet snap pea pod.🙂
@@johndesposito1475 ah ok, good reason I was hesitating lol
I would just stick that stain glass candle holder in the freezer and pop the wax out once the wax is frozen. Awesome house!!!!
Will do! Thanks for the tip!
Wow!! So many treasures you found, but my favorites were the wicker frog, the Bakelite chips, the Bakelite handle purse, the lucite pink flower and yellow butterfly door handles, and the MRS PT HEAD DECOR!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you, Esme! That frog 🐸 purse 👜 was something else! Glad you saw so much you enjoyed! Mrs PT approves! Lol
I just came across your show! It's wonderful and i love learning about the vintage items. Love the beautiful old homes too
@@JaniceMiranda-f2f thank you so much for watching!
Enjoyed watching you in that older home.
Glad you enjoyed it
I liked the frog the best. They had way to many clothes. I always enjoy your show. We use to go to estate sales in Toledo when we lived there, about 5 years ago. We were in Hurricane Irma, on our sailboat, when it hit Key West. Lost our sailboat, gone with the wind. We had to jump off it, onto the coast guard station. Lost everything, we only had the clothes we had on. And a flashlight and phones and a handheld radio. So we lived with my daughter, in Toledo. Got a lot of stuff at estate sales, for when we got another sailboat. The houses were beautiful, large expensive ones, that I would never be able to go in. I love estate sales 😍
@@trishcastle7386 wow! What a sad but heartwarming story! Thanks for sharing! So glad you are doing better and that estate sales helped you get there!

I love these big old houses with a ton of little rooms and nooks. I live rural in Washington state and the only difference is the further into the weeds you get and the larger the farms and ranches get the bigger the kitchens are. I have seen these old houses with lots of bedrooms barely big enough for a twin bed or a tub but they have kitchens you could play football in. Lots of them are so far out they still have gas lights and wood burning or propane kitchens.
Yes, I love them too. These houses are built with love ❤️
I love absolutely everything about this house. I can feel all the memories. So many beautiful gems & collections they’ve acquired over their lifetime. ❤ stunning!!! My absolute favorite thing is the frog purse you picked!! 😍😍😍😍😍 and it sold for sooo much!! That’s amazing! Thanks for taking us along, teaching us so many things and for the humor you never fail to add to your trips. You crack me up! Also glad you only had to take out the laser gun twice 😂
Also also - I just worked my “hold your horses shirt” last week! Thought they was funny!!
That Daisy 🌼 she’s just the most adorable ever! Loved seeing your collection too in the end!

Thanks!
LOVED that green wicker FROG 🐸 w/ handles. Both are nice but I vote on the green one 😊
Glad you liked em! 🐸
Oh my gosh, those hat boxes.I bet they're cool in person
That was a nice vintage house. The heat is what we in Texas are having to deal with on a daily basis. It has been hitting 106 for the past 10 days with no break in site. I am so looking forward to fall and winter.
Ugh, that’s tough, especially with no central air! Hang in there!
You are very thorough. I'll give you that. thanks!

Great sale! So much fun digging through a huge sale like that, I got to go to a big, messy sale Sat. Love it!
Have to say, that wicker frog, prob my favorite, and I learned a new brand to watch out for.
Interesting side note. We have a Strathmore, CA I live close to, but it's at the opposite end of the socioeconomic spectrum, but I've still found Great things at estate sales there.
Thanks for suffering through that hot attic!
@@billhunt7718 yes, I love messy houses! And agree you can find great items in lower to middle class homes. Upper class homes are the worst in my experience bc they are usually house poor
I love the basket frog purse and the little tin frog clicker (childhood memories). That white jacket with the rhinestone applications was interesting, too.❣️🐸
@@dlittle7983 thanks! Ppl really liked those frog items
Beautiful property. I love seeing these old houses. The kids records were cool ! Great art work.

You make me smile Dom. I love everything about your videos.😊That property was magical. If it could only talk. Too bad they couldn’t have set up some fans in the right places. I give you a lot of credit for squeezing yourself in that back attic area. You never know unless you look! Till next time, belly rub for Daisy!

If walks coukd talk for sure.
Unbelievable Holy Grail of vintage purse collecting! If I found that Midas of Miami tag, I would have fainted! Please look for more vintage handbags in your treasure hunts!
Yeah that was amazing! So excited to grab that!
The green metal frog I think is just a clicker. Press the metal piece on the bottom towards the body and I think it will click. To get old candles out of candleholders…put in freezer for a while and the wax contracts and the candle will just fall out.
Thanks for the tips!
Norman Rockwell is( was) my cousin.. Great finds
Sweet
I have a cast iron horse almost identical to the $100 one that you briefly picked up. I’ve had it since I was a kid, so at least 45 years. I bought it at a yard sale because I just loved horses at that age. It’s the only one I kept from my large childhood collection.I doubt I will ever sell it.
Beautiful horse! Just too costly for me
I loved my slide rule!
Good memories
Oh my goodness! I love going to estate sales like this one. What fabulous finds. Thanks for a great video!

The frog bag reminds me of a Kate Spade bag that they did recently of an alligator. I was at two estate sales this week myself got an antique wool coat that actually fits me.
That’s interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Kate Spade often does wicker animal shaped bags, a homage to the novelty wicker bags of the 50's of which the frog bag is an original.
Love the treasure hunt! Better bring that SOLD towel back. I need to make one of those for myself too.

Kuffle & Esser is a great brand on slide rules. I recently picked up one at an Estate sale that belonged to a doctor who went to Rutgers Univ. (marked on the case/Rutgers emblem). It is amazing. 🙂 nice, you found such a treasure.
Nice to know! Thanks!
Thank you for all your great tips and enjoyable estate sale videos! Quick question. In one of your videos I recently watched, you found a large lot of vtg sheet music. I found a tub full today for $10 at an estate sale. May I ask how you lot together (decade, artist, etc) and how you ship? And also, how do you ship if it is just one or two pieces that are more valuable to sell alone. How do you ensure they dont bend in mail. Thank you in advance!
Yes on the bag
Thanks
The wallpaper you highlighted was french toile. You should have started in the attic as they only get hotter as the day goes on.
Nah, the basement was way better 😊
I think it would be funny to take Mrs. PRIMETIME with you on all the sales.😊

Hello Dominic, sorry I missed the live. My favourite find is the purse, love it.
The framed picture of the movie star I’m pretty sure is Paulette Goddard, she’s on the movie poster with Edward G Robinson as well. You are THE best treasure Hunter, thank you so much! Love from B. C. Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️ She was married to Charlie Chaplin in 1936, so time on that picture is correct.
Thanks Barb. I’ve done some comparisons and it really looks much more like Rita Hayworth, which is also the correct time period. Good suggestion on Paulette Goddard. I just sold a Vice Squad poster with her on it and Edward Robinson
Yes the frog was my favorite but I also loved Mrs. Primetime too
@@robinwatson5970 lol that was funny

If you find old ledgers people who do junk journals pay a lot for them. My sister has been looking for one for several years now.
Yes, I sold a diary from the 1930s that I showed in a recent video. I made good money on it too.
Awe! Daisy!!!

Your pink unsold nightgown- did you use house coat as a keyword? Maybe try golden girls. I have the same issue with my box (I use bags and, or a basket)… maybe put your box in an ikea bag. Would make carrying it easier. Last week, I found someone walking around with my item from the hold area. Grrr! 56:08 wicker animals are always worth considering. Is that a leaping deer? I can see that as a Christmas tree topper.
Thanks for the suggestion on the wicker animals. I’ll keep more of the lookout for them next time. I really love using my boxes and I’m not a bad person at all. I will also look into your suggestions for the night gown. Thanks

Another great estate sale in a fabulous historic home. What happened to the horse shirt you had picked up? I loved the frog purse, that was my favourite. Best wishes to you and Mrs Prime Time and of course hugs and kisses to Daisy.
Thanks! Someone stole the horse shirt out of my box!
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter , oh no. I wondered if that was what happened. So sorry to hear that. Maybe you will have to take a box with a lid and a big notice on saying not for sale or something. Although that would probably make it hard for you.
@@Loverofcats14 I used to carry a sheet on it with a red sold sign but ppl ignored it. This is the 1st time someone has gotten something from my box in a long time. It only happened bc the person grabbed it when I was crammed into that little cubby area in the attic
Great stuff. Might double check as I don’t think that’s Rita Hayworth.
I’ve double checked and it definitely looks like it’s her unless you have some viable alternative to suggest
That was great- thanks for showing us the house as well. Love the Miami frog purse! That slide rule! As a fellow estate sale picker, I'd have definitely picked up the Dansk green glass candle holder at 35:35 behind the cut glass red vase (also nice); the fabulous deco clear glass decanters (pair for $10) at your left elbow at 1:05:52; if complete, the Erzgebirge nativity pyramid 3-tiered German carousel candleholder at 47:57 on the right; depending on the price, the butterflies on the wall at the same time stamp; and if that's a vintage floral sheet at 59:02 it might've made the attic sauna a bit more worthwhile. You have a great eye for the weird and eclectic, appreciated.
Not at the end of the video - the deco decanters are at 40:59
Very kewl stuff! 😎
Always surprised by your knowledge and choices!

Just wow on some of those prices...so much more reasonable than here in Phoenix! Do they have multiple days there where the prices are reduced on the 2nd & 3rd days? I'm moving to northern Kentucky and can't wait to be closer to areas where there are much older neighborhoods.
Great sale
Thanks!
And the 'Circus' album featured Spike Jones, bonus! 🙂

Are you supposed to take light switch covers off?
Yep, you can absolutely do that. I have shown this for years.
Lol! I wondered the same thing. Then I decided he did his penance for it in the attic! 😂
I agree with you about the records. Not much fun for a collector either. I would have recommended Elmer Bernstein and Henry Mancini, but Jimmy Smith and Quincy Jones made better records with their music.
The children’s records saved the day but the adult records their typify what I mostly find when I go to state sales. It’s so annoying lol

The Caves restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale was famous for cheating husbands going there with their girlfriends because they could dine in an enclosed table area and wouldn’t be seen like they would be in other restaurants. My sister worked there briefly when she was 18. She wore her “ uniform” home one night and my Dad saw it and told her to give it back and find another job. It was the early 1980’s and she ended up hostessing at Steak and Ale and had to wear a colonial style long dress. My Dad was happy about that 😆
