ABOUT PATKAI CHRISITAN COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS)
Patkai Christian College is a liberal arts college established in the year 1974. The college firmly believes that education is for the whole man in a framework of spiritual and moral absolutes. Patkai, like every Christian college, has the difficult task of retaining its traditional stance while seeking to make its educational philosophy relevant to the world around it. Committed to the principle that the truth is revealed by God through Christ “...in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col. 2:3), Patkai seeks to place all its activities within the framework of biblical perspective on such critical issues as the nature of God, man, nature, and the world, and to relate its instruction to the needs of contemporary society.
MOTTO
The central purpose of the college is expressed in its motto: “Lux et Veritas: Light and Truth”. This purpose produces a concern for truth, righteousness and beauty and thereby gives meaning to the ideal of a christian liberal arts college. The founders of the college maintain that academic excellence and biblical christian faith and practice are essential to a meaningful and purposeful life. To this end, Patkai consciously seeks to aid the student in developing habits that contribute to his/her well-being - physical, psychological and spiritual - and also to enable him to participate constructively in community and church life.

“To impart quality education to the young people, especially the tribals, within the framework of spiritual and moral absolutes, catering to the socio-economic needs of the region and pursuit of science and technology for the welfare of the human society and the world as a whole.”
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
To impart biblical value based education, indispensable for ideal citizenship
To inculcate in the student the habit of analytical and critical thinking
To teach knowledge and demonstrate its use as an instrument for social and economic change
To produce future leadership in the church and in society at large

U will feel like a bird in patkai for guys. Apart from female central jail, patkai is boy's paradise. Get a fren who stays in PG from comline and then ur life is settled. During break, don't go home and instead get a sleepover in the PG with ur group with "checkpost" stuff. Weekend, go to viewpoint, make silly videos, bunk class and go waterfall, "think deep but don't sink". Evening after food, go comline for for icecream and a nostalgic walk to digest the hostel food ,feel the sunsets and do the daily snapstreaks. Make allies with a single shokpeeker to take baki (eg- sadhan/ Kabir). Depressed? Go take a long walk on the 4lane sidewalk . This year from comline we can even rent cycles, damn .. I wish I got dropped. Wanna come again but this brain of mine, so brilliant.
Now that my student life is over, the only memories are these fun stuffs. All thanks to patkai. And these are all the "Light and Truth"
