I couldn't find a lyrics video for this song, so I decided to make one cause it's my favorite song ever! Amazing band, too. I am taking requests! Enjoy:)
It's crazy how, despite how depressing this song is, when it matches my mood it energizes me and brings me out of that place. Music is a strange and wonderful thing.
I heard this song during my first tour to Iraq and it hit so hard. I showed it to a great friend during my second tour and we just emotionally connected to it. There are few songs or movies that can get to my repressed emotion, and this is like 1 of 3! I get it and it is so wonderful. Even the speaking of suicide. I have lost 10 people to that dark hole. Love you guys!
this song does the same for me, except i never had someone to bond with. suicide isn't the "cowards' way out" the way people say. you can only understand that pain if you've felt it. i hope you don't hold ill will towards your friends who had to take that route. pain is just too much sometimes.
I was crying 5 year ago when i heared that song 1st time. SO BEAUTIFUL. as a redhead girls who want to really LOVE u. But, world is cruel world. and dont understand some ppl.
My best friend Corey (rip) showed me machine head and gave me one of their live albums. Where ever you are in the universe Corey rest easy man! Have a fith and some weed waiting for me!
"Caress the needleprick in my eye, The tears fell like rain. I rode the Phoenix as she glides, And I've gone insane. I've seen the light of suicide, And I'm dying. "
Beautiful song and a great album in my opinion. When I was younger (early teens) and was going through hard times this song would break me emotionally and piece me back together.
I new this album as their "nu metal album." Even though it's far from my favorite, it's still better than anything coming out now. This track is quite interesting, I like it a lot. So even my least favorite album from this band still holds material I appreciate, and that means a lot to me.
I got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 2 years ago, and the first year after the diagnosis I was completely spiraling out of control. I got worse quickly and lost everything I ever cared about.. Now, 1 year later, the meds have kicked in, and maybe, just maybe, things will get better... This song is responsible for capturing this feel, and will forever be one of the songs closest to my heart because of it.
+Krystal storm I'm sure the last time you went through some similar shit you were able to be a whole lot more creative and productive and useful as a human being than this. I wish you luck for the future as well.
It was about the time he tried to commit suicide in a bathroom at venue, or so i have been told. I haven't researched it enough to verify it though. Ive been there, wanted to clock out for good, but managed to make my way through. This song helped a lot believe it or not

Wow, same thing for me. Music is so powerful.

"Grievance" by Lord Belial brought me here. Go listen to it, and you'll see why.
I always wanted know the background for this song.
i believe it has something to do with the sexual abuse rob suffered as a child, i may be wrong in this assumption tho
