I came here because tommorow is a total solar eclipse in the gulf region, and I totally forget to by glasses, so i want a way to view it without damaging my eyes.

This is how I watched it before totality in my hometown. Through indirect viewing in the shadows of the trees.
I actually stood by a tree during the 2017 eclipse and saw over 70 images of the eclipse

My eyes are already terrible and I wear permit glasses I could imaging looking at this my eyes will be literary fucked even though New England will only get a half of one
Yeah, I didn't get to see it. One, the sun in my area is already bright as fuck. Two, I was in my classes, and we had mo time to go outside. And 3, yeah, when you live near the California Mex border, you wouldn't be able to see it well.

Lol they are wrong. Its not the first one in 38 years. I seen one in the 4th grade when i was in class. We went outside to see it. That was 23 years ago. Not 38 or 40 years ago.

I think you saw a partial eclipse, not a total one.
Keith Hill It was annular. You're talking about the one on May 10th. It wasn't a total solar eclipse.

I was at school in the 3rd grade when that happened my teacher gave us those eclipse glasses to watch it. the light out side looked so strange as if someone put a lamp shade over the sun. I do remember it being a dark orange color.

KronicNitron you have to be in the path of the TOTALITY
During totality you can look directly at it or photograph it safely, but totality only lasts a bit more than two minutes.
