I miss this generation of hardstyle. Symbols, Anxiety, Free Again, Pandora. Don't get me wrong, I love the earliest hardstyle and the newer tracks, but this generation of hardstyle was the greatest. It had substance, AND it was great to roll down the window on the highways and blast the bass so goddamn high you'd crack the pavement beneath you.
You, good sir, are one of those people that i agree on fully. i love the combinations of melody and bass, and the pavement-cracking volume is the exact same when i listen to hardstyle.

I know this song is a re-make of Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone but if you keep listening to it, you can tell this track has been refined so many times. Every time Neilio created a new kick, synth or style, he would go back to this track and implement those new sounds. Look at his channel on youtube, soundcloud and his guest mixes back in 2011 and 2012. There are so many versions either with a different kick, synth or style in each of those tracks. This is why I love this track and Neilio because he felt that there was a need for self-improvement. I admire his dedication and efforts on this track and be proud follower since his time with monstercat.
Neilio is a legend for me and i am very sad no more came from him. His last track was back in the end of 2017. Already 2 years ago. I really hope he will come back one day. He is one of my favourite producers in the scene and his unique style and especially his kicks are top notch for me
