I’d love to catch up with y’all on a short trip or even day runs in VA/WVa. What all do you have planned for the near future? Good to see a new series from y’all.
We've got a bunch of trips planned for next year and they're all listed on our website. Otherwise, we sneak out and camp pretty much every other weekend throughout the year.
Great video! Looking forward to the next one. What do you usually use for comms with 5 vehicles? HAM, GMRS or CB? Or does it depend on the situation/territory?
@@msoverland Just looked at their website. I've had a CB radio before (truckers let each other know where things are/what's going on, i.e. "County Mounties", "bears", "rolling band-aid boxes"). And I knew HAM radio's were different from CB's, but I hadn't heard of GMRS before. I saw there is a different category for each on their website. I know CB's have 40 channels and I know what the squelch does, but that is about the extent of my knowledge about the three types. With all of that out of the way a video covering them, how they are different and the benefits/disadvantages of them would be a good video that I would very much appreciate. Maybe Midland would be willing to have one of their reps participate in the video.
Hey when you get to Arkansas look up Randy Putt with - Natural State Overland he’s on Facebook .. I’m sure he’s be stoked to meet up with you and invite you to come to Rendezvous In The Ozarks in October.. it will be the 5th anniversary of it ..
Its a Toyota, the squeak will return just give it a few more miles lol! Signed, Too Many Toyotas in the driveway Edit: Also tell the JT guy to get the tazer to shut off that loud ass annoying fan he will thank me later
YEESSSSS !!! Real adventure stars here !!! With bears and all (not talking about Gabby, LOOOOL). AMAZING !!! Let´s have a ride ... Thanks !! Cheers
Hell yeah!! The TAT was a life changing experience for me. I hope it treats y'all as well 🍻. Looking forward to following along
I hope so too!
The dirt really starts at the Smokies and is pretty good after that.
And then you drive across TN #notsomuchdirt
Oh hell yeah! Fantastic production as always! Glad that the bear didn't do too much damage. On to the next vid!
Great job guys. Glad to see you guys back.
Thank you!
Looks Epic! Looking forward to follow in your tire tracks.
What up?!
@@msoverland Needs more FJ!
This looks like a good one. Can’t wait to see the rest of this trip
Thanks Andy!
First.
Looking forward to the series.
Slowly building our 99 XJ. Hopefully, one day next year, we'll be able to take it on an overland trip.
Yes you are! Thanks for tuning in!
Welcome back kids! Looking forward to more! #teamgaby

How much of the entire TAT is accessible by vehicle? So much of it seems to be single track only.
As far as we are aware, 100% of it. No single track in the east from what we've seen so far.
Oh nice!! Looking forward to the next day. Production is cleaner this year - new camera gear?
Thanks! Yes, all Canons this year with the exception to our slow cam. We've tried lots but find the best results in editing post on Canon footage.
@@msoverland It's working very well. Can't wait for my trip in June :D
Will that trail take you through Iowa I would like to meet up with you guys if you make it there
We’ll be just south of Iowa when we pass through that region of the US. We’ll be planning some meetups along the way however so be on the look out!
@@msoverland sweet I'm looking forward to it
Safe travels to you
What’s the intro song?
The Vegabonds, "Juke and Jive" - it's not out yet but coming soon!
Will check them out!

Pretty sure they are using midland gmrs units.
Midland GMRS units. The MXT 400 is our top pick.

That's a good idea. In Episode 3 we'll share some sound bits using an MXT400 and MXT275 for you to hear.
Guys, could you give approximate coordinates where you arrange such rides? I'm very interested in Russia)
We're traveling this Trans-America Trail in this series. This route was purchased online and widely available to anyone that wants to travel it.
Great video! Surprised you don't have any pups with you? Dory says hi!! Hahahaha
We've got a pup joining us next week! Hi Dory!
Had a bear climb into the bed of my Tacoma with us asleep in the RTT right above him. Definitely not a fun way to wake up...
Crazy right?! Glad you guys were safe.

What happened to the Discovery? Ben’s 5000 build?
He mentioned in a couple videos back it blew up. The Tacoma is cheap build 2.0. It would have been cheaper to buy the Toyota in the first place
@@broncobros2022 Thanks.
"A Land Rover will take you anywhere you want to go....A Toyota will take you there and back home." Don't remember who said that.
90% of Land Rovers are still on the road. The rest made it home.
