- Today we start from the far remote parking position 49 at Alicante Elche Airport. In the beginning you'll hear an annoying background noise coming from the interphone which I'll switch off just commencing the pushback.
Via "D" we taxi towards the beginning of runway 28 via C8.
Alicante-Elche Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto de Alicante-Elche, (ALC LEAL), originally named El Altet, is -as of 2017- the fifth-busiest airport in Spain based on passenger numbers, and the main airport serving the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia.
The airport is located in the municipality of Elche, about 10 km east of this city and about 9 km southwest of Alicante. Its influence area spans other cities in the Valencia province and the region of Murcia. The city of Valencia is located about 160 km north of the airport and the airport of Alicante is located about 70 km north of Murcia.

Bleeds on betekend dat lucht van de motoren wordt gebruikt voor de airco en het vliegtuig op druk houdt.

What do you think of flight simulator games? I fly a 737-800 (Zibo Mod) in Xplane 11 and I would know if procedures in simulated games are similar to real procedures...Thank you again!

As far as I know modern flight sims are quite similar to real procedures. Of course there are differences but for me that i love planes it's the only way to "fly" a 737 :-)

Waarom zijn er maar twee knoppen voor de landing lights? Zijn de external landing lights er afgehaald? Is dat een modificatie of is dat standaard bij de nieuwe B737's?
Nog een andere vraag, als je het roer test houd je dan de tiller vast zodat het neuswiel niet beweegt of werkt dat anders?
Bij onze nieuwe Boeing 737's is dat standaard. De retractable landing lights zijn weg. Alle verlichting wordt nu gedaan door LED verlichting.
Klopt.. We houden dan de tiller vast omdat anders het neuswiel iets beweegt.
Op de grond zou je tijdens het taxiën met je voeten kunnen sturen. Mits de bocht niet scherp is. (Dus kleine correcties) Het neuswiel kan je 7 graden naar links en rechts doen doormiddel van het rudder bewegen.
Bedankt voor je antwoord, ja bedoelde de retractable lights inderdaad. Die nieuwe LED verlichting is ook wel mooi fel, je ziet ze alleen nog niet heel veel.

Goedemiddag, Super leuke filmpjes zet jij er telkens op. Heb wel honger vragen hahaha. Maar wat is dat dingetje langs je rechtse been dat telkens draait. Ben erg benieuwd. Ga zo door.
Dat ding wat draait zijn de trim wielen.... die draaien tot het vliegtuig in evenwicht is. Het evenwicht veranderd met gewicht en snelheid (configuratie). Ik denk dat ik er nog eens een filmpje over ga maken. Thanks!

Hi, een vraagje, Het lijkt dat je co-piloot een zwarte trui aan heeft en geen uniform, natuurlijk een minor dingetje maar hoe kan dat ?
We hebben een vest wat donkerblauw is als onderdeel van ons uniform. Ik heb het al gauw warm en heb dat ding eigenlijk nooit aan. M'n collega in dit geval wel. Is dus gewoon een uniform onderdeel.

In een uur tijd 357 weergaven en "maar" 39 likes. Ok camera set is right. Dacht even cockpit sound te missen maar met 5 min weer ok. Beste dikke van dalen zouden jullie steenkolenspaans willen opnemen in jullie nieuwste versie? #ikkomzelfnietverderalsallo 😏
Het valt mij op dat het kleine kunstmatige horizon steeds aan en uit lijkt te gaan, on ground was dit niet zo. Hij knippert/flikkert niet, zoals je mcp panel dat wel doet. Dat laaste was overigens niet tijdens het taxien en na takeoff wel?

Het viel mij ook al op. Met de nieuwe GoPro (60 frames per seconde) en de frequentie die veranderd bij meer en minder licht van de schermen en displays... veranderd dat denk... Ga de volgende keer eens op 30 frames filmen... kijken wat er dan gebeurd.

Is automatische piloot wel zo veilig? Vind het een raar idee om te zien dat piloten nauwelijks het stuur aanraken tijdens een vlucht.. Het is trouwens al bijna maandag en ik schijt echt 10 kleuren in mijn broek. Kijk er echt niet naar uit om te 🛫

De automatische piloot is overigens erg veilig!
Tijdens de vlucht zorgt die overigens voor een hele relaxte vlucht!

Dat zijn de trim wielen.
Die houden het vliegtuig in evenwicht. (Kort gezegd).
mightymkl interessant als backup voor de euhm...kunstmatige horizon? Je weet wat ik bedoel.
Niet helemaal..
Dit trimwiel zorgt er voor dat je minder druk op de stuur kolom voelt.
Als het vliegtuig getrimd is.... en niet op de automatische piloot... Als ik het stuur los laat dan blijft hij vliegen zoals op het moment ik hem los liet... (Hij gaat dus niet zakken of klimmen of draaien.)
De trim veranderd met gewicht en snelheid en configuratie...... van het vliegtuig.

Het is niet irritant... maar kost soms veel energy!
Natuurlijk hebben we wel eens een call gemist... maar dan bij de tweede keer hebben we hem meestal wel.

Waarom werd de gear lever naar de helft geswitcht?
David Bagdadjan Dit is de "off" positie, hierdoor staat er geen spanning/druk meer op het systeem wat zorgt dat de gear naar boven en benede kan gaan.
De Landing gear lever op de Boeing 737 heeft 3 standen.
UP - landing gear retract. (Wielen omhoog)
OFF - Hydraulic pressure is removed from landing gear system.
DN - landing gear extend. (Wielen omlaag)
De wielen hangen dan in de locks en hebben dan geen hydraulische druk nodig om ze omhoog te houden.

spanje alicante, okeeee voor ons heel herkenbaar. zijn daar diverse keren geland maar is absoluut mijn luchthaven niet. en de maatschappij waar we mee daar heen gevlogen zijn al heeeelemaal niet!!! elke keer met Vueling en hebben daar hele slechte ervaringen mee gehad. tot bijna ruzie aan toe. Spanje gaan we nu zoiezo niet meer naar toe. is gewoon mijn land niet. maar daar wil ik dan natuurlijk niet mee zeggen dat ik je opname niet leuk vind. want die was wel prachtig. sorry dat ik wat negatief ben over alicante. gr. jolanda
