And a big thank you to all the Vietnam/Draft resistors who helped bring a quicker end to an illegal war that Americans had NO legitimate right to be in. A war that was destroying America from within. From a proud Draft/Vietnam war resistor.!!!

Thanks for the video! I remember our arrival at the San Francisco airport in 1969 and it was very, very ugly and confusing to us. I remember seeing a Marine putting his uniform in the trash to avoid being associated with the war. Best of luck to all of us.

Hug and thank them while we've got the chance. The youngest to see combat action were born in 1953-54 making them 67-68 now and the older ones are in their 70s and approaching 80. Time is getting thin.

For those of the younger generation that may not understand this. EACH and EVERY one of these guys had a choice to go to Vietnam. What separated those that went from those who did not was consequences of their choices. Every man put a value on the choices they had to make. NONE of these guys are victims. They chose to participate in an illegal war where they had no right or reason to be in. Now they want people to put them on Honor Flights to boo-hoo at their Wall in DC, have bagpipes play in the airport, reunion trips to Vietnam etc etc. The moment these guys returned from Vietnam was the moment they never should have looked back and ONLY focus on their present and future. They show themselves to be little more than little boys who played war...and got stuck in that mode and never really grew up. It wasn't a game. 60000 Americans didn't get to live out their American Dream. I personally have NO clue why they would want to participate in any of this crap.

@@MegaPinoy2 Be glad it's New Years and I don't talk real shit to you. I registered for the Draft in early 1970 and was a part of the Lottery. I RESISTED the Draft/ Vietnam. Call me a "dodger" and I'll call all of them "baby killers".

@@MegaPinoy2 That's the problem...the big problem....they did what they were told to do. They didn't stand up against their Government when it was wrong. THEY are the real ones responsible for the war that lasted almost 10 years.
