This is the first track from his album "Live at Murphy's Law." I discovered it within this past year and he has since become my favorite non-American jazz guitar player. He's from the old school; no jazz/rock fusion, not much playing that you would consider as "outside" and he uses a big jazz box with a clean amp. But there's something very special about his playing, like the way he plays chords in between his single note phrases, making things sound bigger than many a typical jazz guitar trio. And though he doesn't go "outside" much, his lines are often quite interesting and he's not just rehashing a bunch of standard licks that we've heard before. He's got more than "decent" chops too! When I say "non-American jazz guitar player," I'm referring to straight ahead traditional jazz. My favorite non-American guitar player is Allan Holdsworth, but of course there was nothing "traditional" about his playing!
