First turn of the game, going second: Use Arven, take Tera Orb and Sparkling Cristal, evolve Surging Sparks Eevee into Flareon ex and use the first attack for only one energy, accelerate 2 energy to other Eevee, probably the Eevee ex (beacuse it's more tanky) and take 1 KO against most evolving decks. It doesn't feel that bad
That person is more likely to be very new, not understanding that part of the advantage of taking KOs is getting rid of your opponent’s resources (not JUST the prize draw)
Max rod could be okay in gholdengo. I have tried both prime catcher and hyper aroma and I find hitting a superior energy Retrieval gives me more tingles than both
I feel like the only way Max Rod would be in contention for any deck slot is if the energy recovery wasn’t limited to basic energy, special energy recovery could have some potential spots maybe
The Draw 4 Supporter could be used with Skwovet. If you can't play down your hand to under 5 cards then you Skwovet at the end of your turn. Maybe even Radiant Venusaur could be involved to draw back up to 4 cards.
The Vaporean seems bad: it only targets Pokemon EX, and half of the Pokemon EX are terra pokemon which do not get damaged while on the bench. I think you would hit a maximum of 2 bench pokemon, plus an extra pokemon EX in the active. And I do not think that's enough.
I have played with the Sylveon Ex Deck just last night with a friend of mine, since in my country we already get sylveon from Tactics deck promo cards I can say Sylveon is very fun to play, and my friend played zard and it hold up pretty well
i feel like against raging bolts you can also mix in one or two of the 280 attacks to have to use up one less energy also the vaporean spread doesn’t really work against pult and zard because of tera effect but could be better against other future stuff
Jolteon easy pairing with teal mask, plus free retreat and can evolve immediately. You can do 240 turn 2 with just discarding 2 energies. Seems quite broken. Espeon second attack is very interesting, perhaps can be paired with some spread to then de evolve and kill most of the board
@Aimnoos I think it has potential, yes bolt is a basic but jolteon doesn't need sada. Could be a lot quicker with the right engine, beside it can evolve immediately.
Agree Jolteon seems good, can use tools and stuff to increase damage output too. It's also better than Bolt because you only need L and G energy, no need to mix in F energy
@@gianlucatozzi5337 but you need to accelerate 2 energy from active jolteon and how are you doing that.bolt is better in that sense cause It gets the advantage of Sada and meanwhile the two energy is worse, just knowing how to play with you energy in discard and in hand should not be a problem.
i think flareon jolteon could be a deck, they have same attack cost, their first attacks are also pretty decent and being able to hit lightning weakness is pretty good atm, kinda sad that vaporeon doesnt really synergies with them
Glaceon is going to be cool to try make work with dusknoir to set up back to back KO's while attempting to deny attacks with boss/gust or hammer effects. Espeon seems REALLY unfun with effects like xerosic's machinations, not looking forward to that. I'm curious about trying umbreon in other formats; setting up an eelectrik and malamar, dark patch every now and then and just cycling every turn taking prizes as a sort of count down sounds thematic and fun, but no idea how good
I see the eevelutions like a weakness type box since many of them play the same energy and you could just tech the weakness cause most of them also need only one energy to deal relevant weakness damage
I could see the inclusion of a 1/1 line of Espeon into Gardevoir to strengthen the deck. It would also open the deck up to playing Area Zero Underdepths.
I wonder if leafeon spread damage + espeon mass deevolution to ko will finally be viable. I swear they've never nailed a half decent espeon I just want one to be useful for once 😂 Edit: Nvm its not spread. And vaporeon is conditional.
To run quad Eeveeutions in a deck. I feel this combo works the best for consistency. Tera Orb is a free search. Nest ball & Tera orb saves resources unless you need discard fodder. Also, Dusk Ball is a reprint. Arven & Glasses give free search to hit for weakness x3. It saves with consistent numbers. Pikachu Ex (ability) is similar to Focus Sash. It's the one deck to counter the meta with the release of surging sparks. The stats in Japan's meta show it viability to compete for BDIF. You have to respect the synergy with magneton and counter catcher. Furthermore, Counter Gain is a reprint making it easier to setup. Scramble Switch is a reprint reminiscent to Flareon Ex decks. Scramble switch makes Ho-oh V, Zoroark VStar, Arceus VStar, Terapogos Ex, Wyrdeer V tech choices to build decks in different ways. Bloodmoon Ex is for late game tech choices. Diance is a fighting type to tech against special energy.
@brendanmuthiora8494 All consistent competitive decks have secondary attackers and support pokemon. Thats why I gave all the examples of colorless types of pokemon to have as a combo. Pikachu needs help from the secondary attackers. Scramble switch and Turo remove the damaged pokemon keeping the energy in place. It was a combo used in a defensive build with Camarupt & Flareon Ex. I used the rogue deck to play in the Masters division giving my meta deck of Groudon Ex and Shaymin/Rayquaza to my son in the junior division.
@@brendanmuthiora8494 I also gave Diance (Fighting type) as an example in case of a mirror match that runs special engergy for their Ace SPEC. It is a single prize attacker that throws off your opponents lead like RADZARD in Charizard or Regidrago decks.

someone at my prerelease could not belive that drawing one prize card with umbreon is a fundamentally bad attack
@@yetiinmyspaghetti5174not with the surging sparks eevee

its not fundamentally bad, just not the best

flareon reminds me of arceus v so you can pair any stellar tera with it to get the funky energy costs fulfilled
I see the eevelutions like a weakness type box since many of them play the same energy and you could just tech the weakness cause most of them also need only one energy to deal relevant weakness damage
If not, cristal ace spec is another route
Flareon really good into ogerpon based decks since you ohko and also put energy into play
I’m still laughing way too hard at the Max Rod meme you retweeted a couple days ago that shit was peak
I could see the inclusion of a 1/1 line of Espeon into Gardevoir to strengthen the deck. It would also open the deck up to playing Area Zero Underdepths.
How? Gardevoir's potential is only having garde as the two prizer and the rest,be powerfull single prizers
Espeon is great in lost box, right? Spread damage with Sable eye and then devolve for the KO. Lost box covers the awkward energy requirement with ease
This deck might not be good but my god does it look fun. Im gonna build them for me and my girlfriend for sure!
Umbreon is good against wall decks
Yo Jolteon, with trumpets and generators is crazy!!
I wonder if leafeon spread damage + espeon mass deevolution to ko will finally be viable.

This is going to be a rich persons deck lol
This is my biggest problem with these cards lol. Let's just be glad it won't be a top tier deck
Max Rod good for Goldengo?
no you would rether run energy search pro
@@goodgamer9689 really? when we also got earthen vessel?
It's so stupid that they made umbreon do damage and not damage counter,It would have actually been usable with glaceon,i hate tera Pokémon so much
my takeaway::::: If spread decks are relevant in format: Leafeon GOOD, if they're irrelevant Leafeon BAD.
Soo much noisy and charizard and raging bolt ex are still better and more solid.
This set is already sold out ... Wondering if i will even get a chance to open packs and collect this. Absolute bullshit.

Counter Gain reduces by a colorless, it wouldn’t help Pikachu

Shame that every single one of these eevees are bad
