Is Day Z a good game to buy if you have zero experience nowadays? I love watching these videos but the the combat looks fast and frustrating. Are there noob friendly servers on PS4? Or is pc better? Great video either way!

Just got DayZ on sale last night bundled with Livonia(Steam). Have been looking into this game for awhile now and think I have convinced my gaming group of four to purchase. Never played anything like this before and am looking forward to it since watching your videos along with a few others that put up great content on the Tube. Thanks Baby Nades!
Nice1 I played like 50 hours on my buddies account and I'm buying it this week for myself...such a great game I know it has bugs n lag spikes at times but this will be sorted out in time ,can't wait to see when it's a finished product..but ye bro hope your buddies get it too as it's wayyy better with a squad

As someone who has over 2k hours on dayZ stand-alone. Watching you miss the AK suppressor on the first body you saw hurt my heart
he also misses M4 ammo boxes when he was using the M4...not a very good looter

Dayz is really coming along now. The base building isnt as good as Rust but you cant have everything. A trading post would be awesome though.

So bears are different every time ? Ive seen a guy get hit twice, and die i seen a guy get hit 1 time and die and you got got at least twice and didn't die so i take it they are not very consistent just like the zombies!

Thats dayz u need to have Eagle eyes XD.. Yes its in pc ye u can easily see a sillouette of a man In a distance if u are experienced enough to identify the Difference on the invironment ur watching.

If you like Baby Nades you should check out FrankieOnPCin1080p . His series spans the original ARMA 2 mod, associated mods, to standalone (going 2 years back). Frankie is regarded as the gold standard by the dayz community in terms of entertainment. "Polished" is also a new guy worth watching.

Do your stashes show up on a map or do you put waypoints down for your destination and bases etc. Or have you just got to go by memory ? Also when you switch off for the night do you just save your game or do you need to be somewhere safe ? Sorry noob incoming. 🤣 Cheers loving the series
You just have to remember their location. Signing out removes your character completely from the server. But your base if you have one remains. When you sign back in you have your stuff and you’re in same location.
Baby Nades cheers for the info 👍🏻. Being a noob I’ve had about 30 characters get eaten alive up until my latest. He’s survived a few play throughs now and I’ve finally made it north. I’m in devils castle for the night with lots of gear and I’m getting more and more nervous cos I don’t want to lose him 🤣🤣 plan to head to the airfield but I think I need a base to stash my loot . How do you get the game to look so good? Are you using Reshade or SweetFX? I have a 1440p monitor and a 2080 rtx super gpu and cant get close to what your videos look like. What am I missing?

hehe... NADES, dude. You made the same mistake like I did with the compass in quickslot. But you cutted the part out, when you realized it did not work accurately.
The point is the compass is lying vertically to the earth magnet field when carrying at body, therefore if you are facing North the red needle actually is pinned to left and if you facing Wast red needle to top. So you have to deal with the difference (not exactly 90 degrees) and it'd still be kinda accurate. Pretty nice feature though.

I tried to kill a pig with an axe and just wounded it. It went running like a bat out of hell all over Brena with every zombie it passed aggroing it. The pig seemed to have endless stamina so they never caught it. Funny as hell. It must have had 20 zombies chasing it by the time i left the area 3 or 4 minutes later. I didn't want to shoot in Brena as I'd just been killed by guy who was an almost fresh spawn but he ha a gun. He gave me food then wouldn't stop following me, wouldn't chat in voice and then shot me when my back was to him.
Why didn’t you pick up the AK silencer, these developers really need to change how they work. They break wayyyy too fast and zombies shouldn’t hear them
this map is just the arma 3 ufo dlcs map but without the aliens and alien tech everywhere. this should be given out free to anyone who has purchased that dlc within arma 3 rather than tryiong rip us off an extra 10er for a mpa form what was a preety shit dlc upgrade on arma 3
You could have taken the suppressor off the AKSU-74 that the dead dude at the radio tower had. It would have gone nicely on your AKM

what i like about this game compared to games like fo76, is that ur not marked so every can easily see you on the map with ur name above ur head and when you kill someone they cant just spawn instantly in & fast travel to you to fight you again.. which is stupid in my opinion.. fo76 stealth isnt even possible apart from use invisibility stuff ie stealth boy but even then people can tel where you are.. also i like the fact you can be hidden and pretend you are someone else.. like kill someone change ur clothes and they might never know it was you if you meet them later..

it maybe called a silencer but it is actually called a suppressor cause all it does is slow down the gasses with in turn lowers the amount of decibels that the gas creates from propelling the projectile
-so the zombies would hear the shot but it would be quieter than with out the suppressor

fallout has much tougher pve than this game.. and the proof is... in fallout the enemies can open doors...
If you kill someone in a hunting tower or a chicken coop the best way to loot them if they fall through is to quarter them and then access their items to vicinity
just please avoid to record night scenes because we actually don't see almost nothing

A suppresser is not meant to be super quiet just meant to make sure people outside of your area don’t hear
It hurt me when he didn’t take the normalized suppressor or the mag from the dead guy outside the prison
You do know that a silencer doesn’t actually make the gun silent just quieter than normal
