Glad I found your video as its helped me decide on getting a circular saw as opposed to a table saw. So many wood crafters use the latter in straightening edges, but I wasn't prepared to give up the space . Love your creative video... Thanks for posting !!🗜️🪚😊

Glad I could help! I do have a table saw and it would be easier to do some cuts as it has a fence but I do find myself pulling out the circular saw jig most the time.
Quick and simple circular saw straightening jig for #palletwood

Haha Great idea man! I personally liked it when it was just burned around the shark shape but that is a personal taste I think. Great job!

Thanks for watching! Will be making another one at some point with just the burn around the shark I think.

Great idea and video. You have a new subscriber. I may have to visit this for my channel. I kept thinking that I could cut out a surf board or sail board design. Just one question, as you're the one who makes these and I haven't yet, would it be easier to glue up the boards first then cut them out? Or is there a reason that you don't do that? You're the one with the experience on this one, that's why I'm asking. Cheers and God bless.

Thank you for watching, it’s really up to you to what you think would be easier, the reason I didn’t for this video was because I was showing you could get 2 products from the same slats but if I had glued them already together I wouldn’t be able to use the inside shark because I wouldn’t be able to get to some of the angles with a jigsaw in 1 run. If you weren’t interested in the 2 cut out I would glue the slats together first.

@@fromthepalletshed Thank you for taking the time to respond and with your explanation, I absolutely agree with how you made it. That's make perfect sense. I guess I didn't think of it from that perspective. Again, I'm not criticizing your method, I was asking for your experienced opinion. Thank you and God bless.

That looks amazing, out of interest how are you enlarging your pics i have tried rasterbator but when i enlarge a pic to router out the edges are all uneven with large pixels any help would be so helpful

Some off the stuff I’ve blown up does go pixelated but hasn’t affect my design. How detailed is your template? The smaller resolution your image is to start with the more pixelated it will be come.
