As a trekking guide for more than 20 years, Manaslu Circuit Trail from Nepal is one of the best high altitude treks in the world. It is similar to the iconic Annapurna Circuit with fewer visitors.

Certainly one of the best top 10 hiking lists I have seen. Always so subjective. I've done 5 of these hikes, but my all time favourite would have to be the Annapurna Circuit...
Everest base camp trek and Annapurna circuit of nepal are the best one 😍
You really missed the ANNAPURNA full trail circuit and also the SALKANTAY trek (Peru')
I agree. Annapurna is a legendary trek in some cases better than ebc.

It would be impossible to list all of the best hikes, in the world, but I would include the Berg Lake Trail (BC, Canada), the PCT, and the John Muir Trail
They missed ABC and Tse -Phoksundo!!!

I've done the Torres Del Paine, Inca Trail AND Huayuash ( Huarez, Peru) and the last one was by far the most beautiful i've done
Done all 3 .. Ausungate.. and Lagavugur will give it a good run

Why is the Appalachian trail on here but not the Pacific Crest trail or the John muir trail. If you ask me, the jmt should be close to number 1.
or the CDT, American Discovery Trail, Arizona Trail, or the Pacific Northwest Trail. Also I've never heard someone butcher the word Appalachian or Katahdin before.

Checkout the CDT and the PCT
The AT is the longest hiking only trail, the CDT and PCT are not hiking only as parts of both are roads.
Kevin O'Leary and, much of both the PCT and CDT can be done on horse or bike.

The appalachian trail is not the longest hiking trail, the pacific crest trail Mexico/US border to the US/Canada border, and the continental divide trail which starts also Mexico/US border and ends again at the US/Canada border.
The AT is the longest hiking only trail, the CDT and PCT are not hiking only as parts of both use roads.

The AT is the longest hiking only trail. There are trails that are longer, but parts of them include hiking on various roads.

@@laurenschwartz3526 yeah the way they tell the story is so wrong, they show the kungsleden as a populated area, actually it’s total wilderness. Im pretty confident thar the book was written to try to make a good horror book without taking any context from the actual trail. The trail is absolutely stunning and beautiful. The book though, seems really wacky.
