Hi Mark, is that the latest system? It is quite different from the system on my caravan which has rams on the axle to level side to side. These axle rams are very useful because you can use thjem to lift the axles to fit the Alko wheel locks. The control panel is also completely different from the screen on mine.
Hi Mark, that is an interesting video. I have just got an older van (Elddis 2007 with Dometic fridge). People are saying it needs to be level, but how exact does it need to be? I leveled it and it seems ok, but not nearly as exactly as you have done it in this video. The fridge gas igniter nor the 230v work, but there is led status.
You've confused me now! I've just ordered this system for coachman laser 620 2023 model. Surely it's auto to start with without manual setting first. Or are you manually resetting system 🤔 totally confused here
No, it should come set up, but if you ever need to adjust the level, or if it isn't levelling correctly, you are able to reset the level. It will be slightly different on the new ones but a similar procedure.
Love the idea, but this video won’t do anything for their sales. I remember asking what the steepest angle is, as I tend to go for uneven pitches on CL’s, and was surprised to find it can only automatically level at 5 degrees. What’s the point of that. Hardly self levelling if your already on a flat pitch. Then there’s the noise it makes. Atrocious. I often pull up on a site late at night, after work on a Friday. That noise would annoy the other campers. I almost wish I was an engineer and make a decent version, as I’m yet to be sold on it.
Don't see the point on a caravan, it may help on a 5 tonne motorhome but think it's too much extra weight on a caravan especially with the low payloads you get.
quicker by system we had one fitted. Great in storage, when putting wheel locks on, as we can raise the caravan wheels off the ground, for lining up our locks
Nooooo lol. It's actually really good, you pull up on site, press the button and set everything else up, by the time you have plugged the electric in and got water etc. Its done.
What a load of garbage. As I see it. Your actually taking weight off the axle & putting it onto the chassis. I can level my van up in half the time it's taken you, using my motor mover one ramp & a battery drill. Is this a 12 volt or 230 volt system.

Hi David, no this is a slightly older system, still has middle rams, but the older panel. Great system.

As long as its pretty level it should work, the gas ignitor isn't connected to the 230v electrical side so will be a separate issue.

Cracking bit of kit. However must really eat into available payload.
Yes need the weight upgrade definitely, but a great system.

Thanks Darren, 👍

it certainly does help, we have a twin wheeler, and we have front, back and middle legs, great on uneven ground.
Yes it adds extra weight, but on a twin with weight upgrade its fine.
By the time you do all this you could have done it manually.

When actually using it properly you find it great, its one less job especially on uneven ground, it does just make life easier.
Whot happens to a tin of beans for leveing far cheper
Thanks Colin. I had eaten them 🤣🤣
Ok Mark but I could have done it by hand in half the time. If I by the van off you take it off please.
