I just tried double foiling a plate on a 5.5x8.5 sheet so I was so happy to see how you foiled yours! I had a few misses but finally got a winner. I made up some foil-mate sheets to adhere my plates to that have grid lines like the better press. I can position my foil plate exactly where I want them and can tape my cardstock to them too to prevent shifting when I run them through my die cut machine. I just use Scotch doublestick tape to adhere the plate to the foil mate sheet. I print them on 100 lb card and cut slightly larger than 5x7 and count it as one shim. I actually use them for all my foiling not just the double page kind. I also made an A2 size foil mate for sentiments and sm plates. I love your videos and learn so much! I guess I just click with a fellow nurse! I'm retired so cardmaking has become my full-time vocation and joy!

You have so many great ideas in this video! Thanks for sharing. I’m always so afraid to double up the backgrounds to make larger cards because it won’t line up in the middle but it looks seamless when you do it!!
