Yeah, I didn't say he matched the recordings quality. I respect the fact that nobody's perfect, so if you're gonna hate on them because they're not, just stop listening to them. They've got plenty of fans who don't give a fuck about how they sound live.
Others can do that because not all singers have the same vocal capacity. If everybody did, music would be boring. If you're going to judge a band by their live sound, don't listen to them.
