Pretty crazy the things mother nature creates. That rock was a work of art. Winter waterfall hikes are the best since the crowds are gone and you can enjoy the falls in solitude. Always great stuff Ryan.
3:26 Wow that rock is insane!! Very cool!
Very Cool video😍, very nice place, I like it, good work, success and sincerity always for you, Amen, thank you, my dear friend, for sharing an entertaining, interesting and useful video😍👍🏻💝
I was really fascinated by that balanced rock. To me these kind of formations are super cool. And I got to say great use of the 360 on the edge of the King and Queen seat! Man you found a beautiful spot along Deer Creek, love that whitewater awesome! And wow multiple bonus features at the end, great video HDD!
I've woken up at night this week thinking about that rock! Where I sat on the rapids was such a perfect water-carved butt cradle, I could have fallen asleep by the rushing water. There are some places that the 360 is definitely made for and the K&Q is one of them. Finally, I only drove over the Conowingo Dam for the first time about a year ago and couldn't believe it existed. It was on my way home, so easy enough to shoot it! Thanks for watching, buddy!
@@HikerDudeDad Good spot for bird watching..eagles and herons....and vultures 🤣 RE..The Conowingo Dam
Another one for the list. I could feel your relief as you got off of the point at the overlook. I don't think I would have made it that far. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. 👍🙂🙏🥾🥾🥾
Some days I feel great and confident, some days a little shaky! This was a way steeper drop on all sides than the Throne Room, so it was a shaky day, lol. Thanks for watching, Dave!
Labor day 1965 my family and I camped at Shallow Falls State Park in Garret Co. Md, Muddy Run Falls there are 53 feet tall. I believe the tallest free falling falls in the state. Swallow falls and two others. If I remember right there is a swamp area nearby that have artic flowers growing there.
I guess the caveat is that Cunningham is the tallest "cascading" falls in Maryland... I'll look up Muddy Run Falls, I'd love to see that! Thanks for the good info as always Robert!
Beautiful as always,HDD. Good to see you doing coffee in your videos again.
It had really been a while, eh? I missed it, too. I got ingredients for my hot cocoa today as well. I might even make it on the trail for Dr. Mom this week...
Awesome hike. Thanks. Loved those rock formations. I would feel safe crawling around there in December summer time not so much
Ahhh yes.... I do suppose the residents are hibernating this time of year! If you thought this was a lot of rocks, just wait until next Saturday's video. I can't imagine that one in the heat of the summer!
@@HikerDudeDad 😁
Hello there..that rock at the 3:30 time stamp is absolutely amazing….it’s nothing like I have seen before. The landscape is still very pretty without the foliage. Fully enjoyed watching your video to the end. Have a great weekend!!
That rock needs legit scientific study!!! Thanks for watching!
"is this bolted on?" ....lol....I was thinking the same thing. Very cool hike and great job capturing the experience!
I'm still scratching my head.. the physics just don't work for me!!!
You are so brave to get out on that ledge! Great shots with the 360 cam!
There's a time and a place for it and this was it! I even got new unscratched lenses a few weeks ago 👍
That rock Sure doesn`t look balanced!! Incredible area to.
I'll never mentally get over that rock!!! Thanks for watching.
I got myself some Sam Adams Winter Lager just to watch this episode.
I think I remember watching your last video here and really wanting to get there. Looks like a really neat spot! It would be sketchy standing on those painted red footprints!
Sam should pay me commission! Glad you liked it. Those footprints, they weren't there last time. Way too close for my comfort!!!
New subscriber - Love rocky hiking trails. This was a great video. Those rock formations are crazy. Would love to get there some day but thats a bit far from Pittsburgh. Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Thanks for the sub and the views, 3D! There are so many places I want to go out in western PA, too. Happy new year!
I know of another water fall no one ever mentions because the state built a road/bridge right over it. Beautiful location. Cecil county. If you're interested
Lynette, I am always interested in hidden treasures like that! hikerdudedad at the Google Mail 👍
You're a brave man, sir..🤣🤣
That balanced rock is neat! Overlooks are nice this time of year...I was at Star Rock this week and House Rock last week
Absolutely two of my favorite Lancaster County overlooks! Today I took a hike with Walter Zolna, Mountains to Memories, and Day Hike Dave to a contender for "best overlook in Pennsylvania".... Video is coming Saturday, 12/16!!! 👍🥾🤝
@@HikerDudeDad nice! Be looking forward to it! Walter's last few Acadia videos were superb. My kids and I planning a trip up there in May.
I will guess this overlook coming up on 12/16 is off of Aughwick Rd to Tower Road across from The Mountain House Grill.
@@alanmiller1911 way too far south... But I did recognize seeing the word "Aughwick" on the drive! 🤔 👑
@@HikerDudeDad I used go there a lot. My favorite overlook.
