I was at Magic Kingdom that day and it was probably the highlight of the trip! We were only in the park for 4 hours but we rode 11 rides including walking on Mine Train! We just put on ponchos and took advantage of the light crowds. A hot shower never felt so good after a day of being in the rain!

I went to Disneyland for my 17th birthday with 2 friends. It poured the entire day but we had so much fun. We ended the night buying dry pajamas to change into for the drive home. I love Disney I’m the rain.
Love your videos and love Disney!!! My mom and I love to go resort "hopping" when it is rainy! This past May when it was raining, we went to the Grand Floridian and Polynesian and ate lunch, shopped, and listened to the relaxing piano music at the Grand

Fun video. It's pleasing to see a new vlog series starting. I enjoyed your vlog series from 2018 and it was informative as someone researching a future trip. For me rain or shine i'd be out in the parks for definite. With the amount of money it takes to visit Disney, there's no way i'd be sitting on my thumbs in my hotel room waiting for the rain to clear. Besides it'd be pretty boring too. I kinda like those travel day scenarios where eventually it catches up with you and you sleep like a log. I already know what I want to do on first day/travel day. I plan to get settled in the hotel, then go to Disney Springs and have a D-Luxe burger. I'm dying to try one of them :D. Though it all depends how i'm feeling at the time of course, after all it's between 20-24hrs worth of flights to get there!
I have been to Disney many times but recently I went and it POURED the whole day and it was the most fun I've ever had in all of my trips to disney. We were so soaked that we danced to Happily ever after and splashed in the puddles like we were kids again. Like you said you can either pout or embrace it, and I really recommend embracing it.
We were there too! Had planned to spend the morning at AK & then have a fancy, relaxing dinner. Went back to our room after a wet, but perfect morning at AK to dry off & warm up. Checked the My Disney Experience app & saw how low the MK crowds were. Immediately canceled dinner allowing us to head to MK. It was one of the best memories I have of Disney. Even my sweet mom, who is 72, bundled up & made it another 5 hours. Closed down MK in the pouring rain watching Magically Ever After. To your point, you decide on your vacation, pout or put on a poncho!
My best friend and I were at Hollywood Studios that day. The rain was horrible, but you’re absolutely right about braving the rain and making the most of it. We were able to ride ToT and RnRC three times each and Slinky Dog Dash with no more than a ten minute wait on all three. GREAT day!!! I’m so enjoying your videos!!! 😊
We flew in the same Sunday too, it was brutally cold on top of the downpour rain! My boyfriend and I knew it was going to rain, like typical Florida on and off rain, but wow 😂😂😂 that was a lot. Beyond thankful for waterproof boots to keep the toes warm, bf on the other hand was a super trooper for trucking it through with soggy sneakers. You’re absolutely right! It’s still worth going to the parks, with such little crowds at Epcot, we were able to walk onto most of the rides with no waits. We love rainy days at Disney! Everyone clears out of the park and we are able to get so much done. We usually go every year but this year we're not. We're saving to go to Aulani next year! So I'm happy and sad. While we wait I'll live vicariously through other peoples trips LOL We want to stay at The Grand someday.
I've never seen the Japan pavilion so empty. Of course, we only go in the summer. lol I would love to be able to walk through that store and actually get to shop and browse. So fun! Glad you are able to live out your childhood dream of staying at the Grand Floridian.

Absolutely love that room; it’s beautiful and the balcony and view are great! We are the put on the rain ponchos and go for it group. We know it will rain, we can’t control it, so we just go for it. If it’s too much, there are plenty of inside places to go and wait it out.
Another great Disney vlog and can't wait for day 2!! We roll with the weather and are always prepared for rain. A rainy day in Disney is better than a day at work that's for sure!!!

My family since we are from California only go to Disney world every two years in the summer and it always rains which we aren’t used to because it never really rains in Disneyland here for us. So for me it’s normal to associate Disney world with rain and I love it 😍 Thank you for sharing your trip I love your videos and I’m excited to see the rest of the series! ❤️
Epcot is my favorite park! Moroccan pavillion was so much fun and we had a really yummy dinner there! Loved exploring, but want to go back and take even more time trying food and watching shows!
When it rains in Disney I absolutely love it! We put on our ponchos grab and umbrella and have fun! I mean we paid thousands to be there I refuse to let Mother Nature ruin my day. Plus I love the fact that the lines are 5 to 15 minutes!
I LOVE Disney (land, never been to world) in the rain! If I can, I purposely try to go when it's rainy although it's hard when the weather is so unpredictable. I'm going to Disneyland this May, and I'm particularly excited because I've gone in May twice when it was raining and they've been the best trips. We just buy several dollar store ponchos to cycle through and have a blast in the empty park. My last, rainy trip was May 2018 and we got through nearly the entire park by 3pm and headed out once the sun and crowds came out. I was shocked that we walked right onto rides that usually have 3 hour wait and once we got off, we got right back on. It was seriously amazing! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the rain! Every time I watch your Disney vlogs, it makes me want to go to WDW!!
We started our recent Disney World trip the same day and were at Epcot all day. We left around the time you were arriving! Completely agree with your opinion of the weather. We were soaked but it was a great day to be in the parks - short lines everywhere and the rain didn’t hinder our plans other than Test Track being closed all day. Looking forward to following along with the rest of your trip!

When we go to Disney we always carry ponchos so when it does we can go and ride rides with no lines and we always go to the Nemo ride in Epcot if it’s raining really bad! But overall we have an amazing time and it creates a wonderful memory
Look at you being able to ride the monorail to the park and staying in your dream resort!!!!!! What a fun night in Epcot even in the rain! Great dinner and low crowds are always good!! Via Napoli is great! I may need that strawberry drink next time! I also love Japan! I think you all touched all of the same things that we did back in January! Those backpacks covering their eyes are sooooo cute. I'm 50 but almost bought that for myself! Soooooo excited for these vlogs to start but.......my problem is that I like to watch your videos so that I can see several days at a time and not have to wait for the next installment. I arrived for my first solo trip on this same rainy day and did Hollywood Studios. Rode Slinky Dog three times, in the rain, in less than 30 minutes. It was very cold, but still a lot of fun.
Before having children my husband and I would go to Disney every September and it always rained pretty much all day everyday. We would just put on our big yellow ponchos and go to the parks. It was so worth it for the incredibly short lines. I loved seeing so much with little to no wait times. You can not let the rain deter you in Florida!
We had arrived sat January 26. Yes, it rained all day long on the 27th and was cold. We actually went to disney springs. Hope you had a great trip. We did. Too bad I didn't see you, I probably would have said hi. We were there till February 5. So glad it warmed up. Can't wait to see the rest of your trip videos.

Also, I hadn’t gotten to the part when you were in the Japan pavilion when I commented, but my husband and I got a kick at Riley and the Triforce shield. We are both casual gamers and just loved the mention of Zelda! Can’t wait for day 2!
On our last trip on the last day we were at Magic Kingdom in the pouring rain. We got stuck in Seven Dwarfs right at the house at the end for 10 minutes, no exaggeration. All I could do was laugh and just embrace the rain. So excited for the rest of your vlogs!

We arrived the same day and pretty much the same exact time, except we were staying at the Boardwalk!! Rained ALL day! But a rainy day in Disney is better than a rainy day anywhere else! Yall were a little more prepared for the rain for us though, haha. We did have rain jackets at least!

Yes! When I was in middle school, we did a big road trip from CT to a family reunion in the Outer Banks and we stopped at Busch Gardens on the way. It was pouring rain and we had the whole place to ourselves. Just road ourselves silly on limitless roller coasters. It was such a memorable time for our family. Glad you made lemonade out of lemons. :)
Hi Blair , love watching videos of your adventures , last year at Disney it was pouring rain at magic kingdom, purchased ponchos and sloshed away to all the rides because no one was there ! We had a blast even though our shoes were wet ! You just have to make the best of a not so perfect situation ! Enjoyed your first day !
When bad weather hits, we thrown on ponchos and watch everyone leave while we enjoy short lines. In warm weather, the storms don't last long. A rainy day at Disney is still a day at Disney. °○°
We had one of our best trips to Disney in the middle of storm! It was during June hurricane season and the parks were empty! We had rain gear and had a blast! No waits, smaller crowds, and so much fun!!

Travelon is amazing I bought a crossbody bag for Europe 10 years ago and use it when we travel and it has not shown any wear. I love that it is cut proof and have the extra lock features and is water resistant! It is my lightest bag and it holds more then you think. Taking mine to disney next week!

Blair, I just love watching your Disney vlogs! Epcot is my favorite park, with World Showcase being my favorite attraction there! My husband & I experienced a rainy day at Magic Kingdom once, so we put our ponchos on & had just as much fun. I remember getting off Pirates & going into the gift shop. My husband grabbed a couple of pirate swords & pretended to be a poncho pirate LOL! It's all what you make of it. So glad to see you & Riley had such a great first day!
I am so excited for this series, try. I just started planning our family 2020 Spring Break trip, hoping to stay club level at the Beach or Yacht Club resorts. So glad you had an amazing trip! We have not yet experienced a full day of rain on our March trips, but it helps to be prepared.
Ew ya, that was a gross cold icky day, we came home from Disney that day. We had to drive in all that up to Jacksonville not fun.That rain covered the entire state!! Glad you all made the best of it! I’m a Disneyland goer and when it rains I just grab a poncho and go! Love the parks being less crowded and we just ride everything we can! If the weather is crazy crazy we’ll just find an inside bar or restaurant and relax!
Love this vlog, I always want to start a vlog but when I am in Disney I just always forget to take videos. I just got back from a trip on the 8th of this month and we stayed at the Grand Floridian too. Watching this is helping me relive my trip and get rid of the home from Disney blues. We never let the rain stop us.
I was at AK! It was still about an hour, but no lines for anything else:). On & off it was raining hard enough to close down outdoor attractions which probably kept Flight of Passage line long! On CM said it was the smallest crowd he had ever seen at the park.
I was at Animal Kingdom that day and Flight of Passage had a 35 minute wait around 4pm! Everything else in the park was a complete walk on. It was the best!
I loved the England Pavilion the most because ...Mary Poppins! I wasn't even expecting her when I came around the corner and there she was. I am such a nerd I nearly cried...lol. Plus I found a Mickey holding a Steiff teddy bear...and I am all about the teddy bears! I was so happy. :)
Yay!! Grand Floridian is one of our favorite resorts to stay at! Such a dream! So glad you got to experience it! I remember a vlog where you said, you have to take out a second mortgage to afford it there (haha) and now here you are! So amazing!... As for rain, it is to be expected in Walt Disney World, we poncho up and head out! Disney is magical no matter what and you are so right! A positive attitude and a high spirit only add to the magic and make your trip! Can't wait for more!

I love rainy days at Disney! We just get some ponchos/umbrellas and continue the day as normal, except maybe a few more hot chocolates that usual! I am a Disneyland girl and the only time I have ever been allowed to stay on a ride was a rainy day doing grizzly rapids. There was literally no one waiting so the cast members asked "you want to just stay on?" "Heck yeah we do!"

I'm going to Disneyland this May, and I'm particularly excited because I've gone in May twice when it was raining and they've been the best trips. We just buy several dollar store ponchos to cycle through and have a blast in the empty park. My last, rainy trip was May 2018 and we got through nearly the entire park by 3pm and headed out once the sun and crowds came out. I was shocked that we walked right onto rides that usually have 3 hour wait and once we got off, we got right back on. It was seriously amazing! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the rain! Every time I watch your Disney vlogs, it makes me want to go to WDW!!
We started our recent Disney World trip the same day and were at Epcot all day. We left around the time you were arriving! Completely agree with your opinion of the weather. We were soaked but it was a great day to be in the parks - short lines everywhere and the rain didn’t hinder our plans other than Test Track being closed all day. Looking forward to following along with the rest of your trip!
We have the same strategy- "The rain never bothered us anyway!" :)

Love that you are putting the weather on screen! I always wonder what the weather is like during certain months.
When we go to Disney we always carry ponchos so when it does we can go and ride rides with no lines and we always go to the Nemo ride in Epcot if it’s raining really bad! But overall we have an amazing time and it creates a wonderful memory
This was the hotel we stayed at when we went to Disney last year and we loved it!! The Grand Floridian smell is amazing 😭😍
Look at you being able to ride the monorail to the park and staying in your dream resort!!!!!! What a fun night in Epcot even in the rain! Great dinner and low crowds are always good!! Via Napoli is great! I may need that strawberry drink next time! I also love Japan! I think you all touched all of the same things that we did back in January! Those backpacks covering their eyes are sooooo cute. I'm 50 but almost bought that for myself! Soooooo excited for these vlogs to start but.......my problem is that I like to watch your videos so that I can see several days at a time and not have to wait for the next installment. Don't think that's going to happen though because I was so excited to see this one up, I had to watch! Can't wait for more!!

I arrived for my first solo trip on this same rainy day and did Hollywood Studios. Rode Slinky Dog three times, in the rain, in less than 30 minutes. It was very cold, but still a lot of fun.
Omg girl! I remember that exact episode and how uncle Jesse sings to a mad Becky on the piano! I loved it!
Before having children my husband and I would go to Disney every September and it always rained pretty much all day everyday. We would just put on our big yellow ponchos and go to the parks. It was so worth it for the incredibly short lines. I loved seeing so much with little to no wait times. You can not let the rain deter you in Florida!
We had arrived sat January 26. Yes, it rained all day long on the 27th and was cold. We actually went to disney springs. Hope you had a great trip. We did. Too bad I didn't see you, I probably would have said hi. We were there till February 5. So glad it warmed up. Can't wait to see the rest of your trip videos.
As an annual passholder who lives too close to the parks to justify these long trips to Disney for myself, I love that I can experience this awesome week through you! Thanks for another great vlog!

Also, I hadn’t gotten to the part when you were in the Japan pavilion when I commented, but my husband and I got a kick at Riley and the Triforce shield. We are both casual gamers and just loved the mention of Zelda! Can’t wait for day 2!
On our last trip on the last day we were at Magic Kingdom in the pouring rain. We got stuck in Seven Dwarfs right at the house at the end for 10 minutes, no exaggeration. All I could do was laugh and just embrace the rain.

We flew in the following Sunday and it was hot, sunny, and PACKED! Never again will I go around superbowl but we still had a great time.
Our family always goes to the parks rain or shine! We do multiple parks a day, just non stop!
We were at Epcot that day too and it was a blast. We've never had a rain day and it was awesome, a little chilly but fun. We did the same week as you guys last year also so it will be fun to see what you guys did for that week. Keep up the great videos.

We arrived the same day and pretty much the same exact time, except we were staying at the Boardwalk!! Rained ALL day! But a rainy day in Disney is better than a rainy day anywhere else! Yall were a little more prepared for the rain for us though, haha. We did have rain jackets at least!

We booked a Lyft through the app the night before and highly recommend doing so! It was so fast and easy and only $5 or $6.
Yes! When I was in middle school, we did a big road trip from CT to a family reunion in the Outer Banks and we stopped at Busch Gardens on the way. It was pouring rain and we had the whole place to ourselves. Just road ourselves silly on limitless roller coasters. It was such a memorable time for our family. Glad you made lemonade out of lemons. :)

Hi Blair , love watching videos of your adventures , last year at Disney it was pouring rain at magic kingdom, purchased ponchos and sloshed away to all the rides because no one was there ! We had a blast even though our shoes were wet ! You just have to make the best of a not so perfect situation ! Enjoyed your first day !
When bad weather hits, we thrown on ponchos and watch everyone leave while we enjoy short lines. In warm weather, the storms don't last long. A rainy day at Disney is still a day at Disney. °○°
We had one of our best trips to Disney in the middle of storm! It was during June hurricane season and the parks were empty! We had rain gear and had a blast! No waits, smaller crowds, and so much fun!!

I bought a crossbody bag for Europe 10 years ago and use it when we travel and it has not shown any wear. I love that it is cut proof and have the extra lock features and is water resistant! It is my lightest bag and it holds more then you think. Taking mine to disney next week!

Blair, I just love watching your Disney vlogs! Epcot is my favorite park, with World Showcase being my favorite attraction there! My husband & I experienced a rainy day at Magic Kingdom once, so we put our ponchos on & had just as much fun. I remember getting off Pirates & going into the gift shop. My husband grabbed a couple of pirate swords & pretended to be a poncho pirate LOL! It's all what you make of it. So glad to see you & Riley had such a great first day!
I am so excited for this series, try. I just started planning our family 2020 Spring Break trip, hoping to stay club level at the Beach or Yacht Club resorts. So glad you had an amazing trip! We have not yet experienced a full day of rain on our March trips, but it helps to be prepared.

Ew ya, that was a gross cold icky day, we came home from Disney that day. We had to drive in all that up to Jacksonville not fun.That rain covered the entire state!! Glad you all made the best of it! Nothing like an empty park. Definitely looking forward to the rest of your vlogs! We’re going camping in our pop-up at Disney’s Ft Wilderness next week for my and my boyfriend’s birthdays & that’s a whole other level when it comes to being prepared, but super excited!!!

Wow! We were at Epcot that day too! It was the 2nd to last day on our trip. We poncho'd up and splashed out! We did lots of attractions & films in the different countries. Worked out great for us too ... love your vlogs!
I’m a Disneyland goer and when it rains I just grab a poncho and go! Love the parks being less crowded and we just ride everything we can! If the weather is crazy crazy we’ll just find an inside bar or restaurant and relax!

Love this vlog, I always want to start a vlog but when I am in Disney I just always forget to take videos. I just got back from a trip on the 8th of this month and we stayed at the Grand Floridian too. Watching this is helping me relive my trip and get rid of the home from Disney blues. We never let the rain stop us.

I was at AK! It was still about an hour, but no lines for anything else:). On & off it was raining hard enough to close down outdoor attractions which probably kept Flight of Passage line long! On CM said it was the smallest crowd he had ever seen at the park.
I was at Animal Kingdom that day and Flight of Passage had a 35 minute wait around 4pm! Everything else in the park was a complete walk on. It was the best!

I loved the England Pavilion the most because ...Mary Poppins! I wasn't even expecting her when I came around the corner and there she was. I am such a nerd I nearly cried...lol. Plus I found a Mickey holding a Steiff teddy bear...and I am all about the teddy bears! I was so happy. :)

Yay!! Grand Floridian is one of our favorite resorts to stay at! Such a dream! So glad you got to experience it! I remember a vlog where you said, you have to take out a second mortgage to afford it there (haha) and now here you are! So amazing!... As for rain, it is to be expected in Walt Disney World, we poncho up and head out! Disney is magical no matter what and you are so right! A positive attitude and a high spirit only add to the magic and make your trip! Can't wait for more!

I love rainy days at Disney! We just get some ponchos/umbrellas and continue the day as normal, except maybe a few more hot chocolates that usual! I am a Disneyland girl and the only time I have ever been allowed to stay on a ride was a rainy day doing grizzly rapids. There was literally no one waiting so the cast members asked "you want to just stay on?" "Heck yeah we do!"
