Parra played great. However, they laid down to milk penalties too often. Every time a player does that, it erodes the integrity of the game. Teams that lay down like Italian soccer players should be ashamed of themselves. Good to see the Roosters didn't involve themselves in taking dives.
Cracking match. Manu with match-winning tackle? Awesome contest. Some great lines and running by both teams. Well done Eels for bouncing back and almost winning it against a solid Roosters.
Seriously the NRL go on about how they're protecting player safety by giving send offs for accidental high shots like Suaalii in SOO but then only issue a sin bin to Kelma Tuilagi for a forceful spear tackle which could've broken someone's neck.
@@leovulinovic914learn what intent means, I'm a roosters fan and it definitely looked like an accident to me, careless but not malicious. I still think it's needs to be a sendoff because neck injuries are more serious and have heavier implications than head injuries.
Gutsy win boys. Had to show a lot of fight in the second half to get it done. Keeps us in the 8 for another week. Best of luck to our Origin bound contingent as well.. Especially Collins & Crichton
When players slip and fall and it makes the tackle illegal its bs, its literally impossible to react, which means any player can just get a penalty by slipping into a tackle...
The referees were horrible! The Jaz sin bin was not a sin bin just went to bin because he jaz, high tackle for hitting his chest and staying in the field of play, but then called a line drop out????? Horrible Chris Butler
Very dangerous lifting tackle on Sydney Roosters Prop, Lindsay Collins ( No. 10 ) by Parramatta Eels’ Second-Row, Kelma Tuilaga ( No.11 ), with some token support to Tuilaga from Parramatta Eels’ Lock, Joe Ofahengaue ( No.16 ). Lindsay Collins played a top game for The Sydney Roosters and seemed to be okay but I am just hoping that his Neck Discs are not affected after he cools down. In my opinion Kelma Tuilagi should have been given a Red Card, sent off for the duration of the game, and he should get at least 6 weeks suspension from playing. Unfortunately it does seem that the Parramatta Eels’ Coaches, Brad Arthur in the past and Trent Barrett now, cannot get through to their players that this sort of behaviour on the Football Field cannot and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. However, it was a huge comeback from Parramatta to go from Zero to 18 points and even hit the front 18 points to 16 points, but it took its toll and as seems to be their standard they faded yet again with fatigue in the last 15 minutes. But the Sydney Roosters’ commitment in defence was simply outstanding, leading by 10 points with the game well won and only seconds to go Parramatta’s very fast and brilliant winger, Blaize Talagi ( No.5 ) looked certain to score but all that Blaize seen was tricolours, of which the Sydney Roosters’ full-back was very prominent, driving Talagi’s whole body into touch and no try. I call that commitment.
Roosters can crow after winning this game with their defence. Totally disagreed with the JWH send off. Look at it again. He is standing upright and the attacking player drops and falls down. JWH then has his arms outstretched indicating that there was no malice or intention for a head high tackle. In the aftermath, the player on the ground although stunned, the tackle has not yet been completed. Debatable how aggressively or not JWH should have then completed the tackle. Fair enough if the Referee had just placed him on report, no penalty or sin bin but stop the game to confirm that the tackled player is OK.
JWH should've got red card , SOO Sua'ali'i was red carded for exactly same tackle. NRL is absolutely inconsistent rubbish. BTW Sua'ali'i, should NOT been red carded
Chooks should make top 8, but in the 2nd week, JOB 38:11 "Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed". Those teams above the Roosters will have far too much strike power far greater than the likes of this Parra side.
congrats to the board of directors at Parramatta for single handedly fcking the Eels over again and sacking BA, back to the dark ages again and the Era of Denis Fitzgerald where the board believes they should manage the team as well

You have to resort to that when your not getting the rub of the green unfortunately

Jennings is crazy man. Still got it
Ref was against the Chooks the entire game and we still won. Yessirr
Only for the first 70 mins. In the last 10 minutes all the decisions went the Roosters' way.
No ref has ever been against the chooks. Most gifted team in NRL history.
@@rawdog1999man I don’t know what game you we’re watching, must be a rabbitohs supporter😅

Should have gone
There was no intent.
@@iancameron7292very clearly was he was picked up and dropped on his neck
@iancameron7292 I agree no intent but a broken neck and ending up para/quadriplegic, that's way worse than a head knock.
@@leovulinovic914learn what intent means, I'm a roosters fan and it definitely looked like an accident to me, careless but not malicious. I still think it's needs to be a sendoff because neck injuries are more serious and have heavier implications than head injuries.
That first tackle should have been a send off.... dangerous as.
Death, Taxes and JWH on report
Some great try saving tackles in this game
"He won't know what to do. He's up to the fullback. He knows what to do!" Great commentary.
Favorite highlight commentary
Need sivo back❤
Up the chooks great win lads
Btw, how old is Jennings now ? He's still fit to play !
He’s 36
Sivo would've made that last try attempt
Great effort Parramatta.

As an eels fan, I’m not to disappointed with this game but congrats rosters
What a match electrifying
When players slip and fall and it makes the tackle illegal its bs, its literally impossible to react, which means any player can just get a penalty by slipping into a tackle...
“dangerous tackle” haha that’s why we watch this game tbf haha it’s making me lose interest
The NRL's awesome
Wow Tedesco finally learned to pass 🎉
Nice one boys go Roosters you've made it 😊 I'm a big fan here at PNG 🇵🇬
Aww man Sorry about the loss Eels
What a game outstanding
We complaining of the Ref as if we can officiate such game ourself😅✌🏽
I really hate the 'six again re-start' rule. Both teams received them at the whim of the referee but there is no consistency.
The referees were horrible! The Jaz sin bin was not a sin bin just went to bin because he jaz, high tackle for hitting his chest and staying in the field of play, but then called a line drop out????? Horrible Chris Butler
LETS GOO
I think that Winger 5 for Para should be playing fullback.
3:14 i dont understand. looked like a save to me

Jennings looks like Roberto Carlos.
Sivo would've scored those two missed tries easy🤷♂️
Moses for origin
As much as I hate to say it, jennings at 36 is playing pretty fkn good footy... he doesn't look slow and weak...
Some dangerous tackles are not intentional but accidental.
Even ChatGPT could have seen that
Some horrible decisions by the ref , was a great game from both teams, no consistency is ruining the game
If it was Sivo?
That Lindsay penalty was absolute BS
you cant say that without knowing what he said
He Just Did...@@daveross1638
You don’t know that. General rule of thumb don’t spray the ref in front of him or say anything that might make the ref think that whilst he’s near.

better from the Eel's, won't make finals but can hopefully at least avoid the spoon.
Would like to see the NRL start handing out massive fines for obvious milking, it is ruining the game. Some shocking ones in this game from the eels.
Moses into origin ? I don't think so..
Parra got robbed by the refs tonight
Barret deserves another chance as head coach. Come on Parra, take a chance and give the man a contract.
We don’t want to be the headline on NRL360 in six months time when we have to sack him.
Ref was horrendous
Netball might be your game....
Parramatta on the road to nowhere once again 😂
Hargraves tackle nothing in it.

Parramatta Farmers… milking everything last night 😂

The top 4 are Melbourne, Penrith, Cronulla and Canterbury.
