@@TheOriginalSeveth it's a location in the game. Traditionally, the great Zombie movies all take place entirely or primarily in PA. That's why L4D took place there, that's why this game takes place there. Plus, as the Union Wars have taught the world, Pennsylvanians are basically indestructible.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy we are getting a successor to left 4 dead, but I’ve always loved the gritty, real environments and disgusting creatures. The bright red stuff makes it seem cartoony.

This game looks fun but the Disney Channel original movie voiceover ruins the trailer. They should have just made an animated short like the ones at the beginnings of the Left 4 Dead games that introduce the characters and enemies through actions rather than direct expository narration.

@@4sup47 in the old left 4 dead’s there was a concept zombie that would scream really loud and attract a horde if it sees you. In the concept it would run away after screaming but they decided not to go with it since It may be too hard to keep up with the zombie. Now it seems like they added it without the running.

Decades even lol. I'd love to play this with my future kids.
Left 4 Dead 2 is still played to this day. If this game is a success, then it will be here with us for a very, very long time.
Depended on support for the game and how much content is released. Also one reason l4d is still active because of modding with one of those major community mods became an official patch for l4d2 not that long ago.
So hoping imo the devs allow workshop for the game at least.

They are trying to use this as a marketing trick but it isn’t really true.
Valve bought turtle rock studios at the time of developing Left4dead and many developers Switched from turtle rock (renamed valve south) to the valve main development team. Valve than made Left4dead 2 with the main, without the rest of turtle rock.
The rest of turtle rock was kind of useless to valve so they shut the studio down but allowed the few people that were left (13) to reestablish the studio as a independent studio and still using turtle rock as a name. Most of the L4D developers were already part of valve at that time.
The remaining team recruited new people that never worked on L4D and made Evolve.
So most of the People that make B4B Never actually worked on L4D, let alone L4D2 but this team that is currently working on B4B made Evolve in the past. You are buying the new game from the evolve developer, not the L4D developers.
