we did some reparations on the pavement in this area, it was (and still is) quite critical. As part of the work, we'll undertake the best efforts to secure the trafficability of the road.
INZAG, thank you for undertaking this great project. What is the current progress as of July 2022? How much road construction in Km have you been able to do on this contract?
Thank you for your comment, Mark!! Surely the know-how engaged in the project will be transferred throughout the training process and team-building of the project.
Thank you for your comment! you can count on it! INZAG has already an MOU with AHK and GIZ to boost the training centers for Ghanaian staff. It's on course.
This is a government that sees the opportunities and the need to make developments vital in its policies. Germany is what it is today for their innovative and vocational skills and that's exactly what the Npp government is trying to implement. So Ghanaians pls take advantage of it and your dreams would be met. You won't regret you did.
The Design and build contract is at the design phase however, we are using this time for mobilization and campsite construction and also relocations of utilities (Eletric poles and water pipes) that is on the road footprint.
This is good for us because we are behind in infrastructure development in Ghana, this should have been done long time ago but our leaders lack the will and the financial knowledge so we are not developing like the westhern nations,i live in Atimpoku and to day I saw they have pegged short green poles on the road side and wrote on buildings with numbers does it means they will start the road construction soon?
Thank you for your comment Isaac. Yes! The construction is starting very soon, In fact it's already started and this movement you have seen is part of it. The pre-operational phasis is paramount to deliver a good quality project and avoid interruptions along the contruction phasis.
Thank you for your comment, Nana!! The project is predicted to be completed in 36 months. It's Ghana Highways Authority who lead the steps to it's conclusion on time.
Thank you for your comment Joe, and it's really a concern to us. Pre-operational phases of a project like this such as, environmental and social impact assessment, resettlement action plan, utility relocations, traffic assessment, geotechnical, topographical, and water streaming surveys, didn't seem so clear for the general population but it's paramount to ensure a good performance and right direction for the project. The Campsite construction will be starting very soon and it will be more visible, that the work has commenced. We promise to deliver the best to Ghana and it will be done!
Thank you for your comment Edmond and sorry for the late response and the delays presented so far. The pre-operational phasis for a project like this is really dense and needs to be assessed properly to deliver the best quality and make sure of the social responsibility.
This money should have been used to make Accra to Takoradi dual carriage. Or Accra to Kumasi dual carriage. These are the busiest roads in Ghana, and the most deadly which needs urgent attention
The Accra kumasi Road definitely needs to be turned into a dual carriage motorway. For crying out loud, this is a road joining the first 2 major cities in the country. It must be done as a priority. That's not to say the Eastern corridor should also not be done but they must also prioritise the Accra Kumasi Road.
Thank you for your comment Williams. We are keen to deliver the best quality, and apply the right resources to the project and, live up to the trust posted on us.
Every project is about to happen or is the pipeline. When this photo shots project will come to live on ground. We can do this if he stop the private jet spending n ect nonsense
There's a lot of pre-operational works that need to be done for such project. The campsite is under construction and the teams are on site with the Geotech, design and ressetlement.
This will be a huge relief and live changing. I live in this environs and the traffic challenges are too unbearable. Hope it happens soon
I'm really excited about this project..wow
Thank you for your comment Patricia!

When the Germans are involved you know it'd be good. There should be technology transfer to Ghanaians

Waauu!
Great stuff but I hope they will also train local Ghanaians in the process.

Please stop propaganda politics because we need Ghana to move forward not backwards as you think
No wonder that it's Eastern corridor but we're all tax payers
After 11 months we still at ground 0, the biggest disappointment to ever happen to ghana is voting for the dwarf

No one in Ghana has the brains to build a road like that, we only have fools like AKUFFO ADDO, so please stop it................................
What kind of nonsense is this?
