I did a a house on cottonwood bark when I first started carving in a class. I carved it out on the literal bark thinking that was what I supposed to do. Turned out good though.

I'm going to do one of these soon in about the same diameter. I have a variety of wood to choose from, but not cottonwood bark. About how thick of a piece of wood would you recommend? Thanks, and I love your videos!
