Got to climb on one of these today. The pics/videos don't do them justice, you have to see them in person to appreciate what Kawasaki has achieved, amazing. I just need to get rid of my 250 & wait for the green one to come in.
There are a lot of things to consider. If you feel confident that you can handle starting out on the Ninja 650. I say go for it. I have also had many customers start out on Ninja 250s and have not regretted starting small to develop thier riding skills. The answer may be different for everyone. Either way take an MSF class, where the gear (helmet, jacket, gloves, and long pants, and ride defensivly. Thanks for watching.
Great video thx so much. I'm going to school for motorcycle mechanics right now and I found this very informative, told me just what I needed to know and more. I hope to have one of these in the future they look like great bikes to start out on.
This bike is designed to be a learner/intermediate bike. The slipper clutch is there to stop learners from chopping down a couple of gears and having a massive wipeout by either the front wheel lifting off the ground or the back wheel sliding out. Hope this answers your question :)
Both are great bikes. I do prefer the Ninja 250 with it's twin cylinder engine as it has a little more power than the CBR's single cylinder engine. The CBR does have fuel injection where the Ninja 250 does not. Of course the new Ninja 300 has more power and fuel injection. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Ok, the true model nomenclature for the Ninja 300 is Black or White is a EX300ADF, Lime Green Special Edition is a EX300ADFA, The Lime Green ABS Special Edition is a EX300BDFA. The A after the 300 means it is non abs, B for ABS models, the D means it is a 2013. 2014's will be E in this position, Nobody knows what the F means, and the 2nd A means special paint or graphics or more money. Thanks for watching and commenting. Great question!
Well ya, i got a pretty good deal on my bike. My bike was listed at $10,500. It was going to be the 3rd bike i bought from the Harley dealership where i live so the knocked it down to like $9500 (With tax, tags, fees) I did a no down payment loan. The interest was super high but then all the money i was going to use for a down payment was used for parts on the bike.
Would you recommend a 300cc to a beginner or should I start with 250cc. I'm 6'3 210 pounds. Just saying because I'm may be to big for the 250cc or may not fill comfortable with it.
Canada, Toronto to precised I have cousins in college in New jeresy that work they also get paid around 10.25. I'm assuming its differene in all states as well? the Currency differences ranges $1US = 60cent-$1 Canadian at the moment its usually in the 70cent range.
Why did the trip odometer show 14 while the main one showed 1? I haven't used the trip odometers at all yet so I don't know how they work, but it seems odd.
Ahh true true i didnt know you meant buy it completely with cash. I took a loan on my bike. I got approved for 60 months at $160 a month. Its a long time but its basically just 1 paycheck a month.
im in chicago and I can't find this bike in white to save my life...Im a new rider and I will be taking a class at the end of the month...but I think im going to save a lot of money by riding a bike to work because bikes are good on gas
Mine has no issues. Shifts better than my 600RR! Any new rider who does not really know how to ride can try and shift too gently and hit false neutrals.
Theres a video out there, cant find it all of a sudden. But a guy is stating the neutral finder is problematic. Its shifting to neutral when he's going to 4th or 5th consistently, and finding neutral on a consistent basis when going to 1st from a stop? Might be an issue with these bikes...we'll see.
Wait until you get used to bikes. That old 500cc bike will feel weak to you :) Get a 250/300 and ride it for 6 months to a year. Don't spend too much on your first bike and make sure you buy something you can re-sell easily and without loosing too much. Jump up to a 600 and take it from there mate.
Mainland Cycle Center, La Marque, Texas (just outside of Houston), Yes we still have these available. Give us a call 409-948-4969. Thanks for watching!
The trip meter shows the miles down to tenths. So the trip meter shows 1.4 miles. The odometer still shows only 1 miles because it does not show the tenths of a mile. So I guess I did not ride it a couple of miles. I rode it 1.4 miles. Please everyone accept my appologies...
well i think it was suggested all cash to save you costly interest. a good negotiator could probably get this bike for around $6000-$6500 OTD. so the loan cost you $3000, give or take. and i hope it was a "no money down" deal, too. otherwise, ouchX2. congrats, i like the bike myself. if it will cruise at 80mph and have some left over to reach 90mph i will take a look at it myself
Dude, where the hell are you getting your currency information? Our dollar (Canadian) is worth more than the U.S. dollar at the moment. They have been more or less the same for a couple of years.
if your making $8 an hr even if the bike only cost $1000 that would still be 125hrs of work to make that much not counting taxes so even 1/4 for you would be alot
if you have the money for the 650 then get it... the bigger the bike the better... unless you want to have a smaller bike and do your own tune ups. i'm not an expert.
OH and i dont have a ninja 30. I have a different bike just to make that clear, lol. I just posted a response to that and was like wait he might think i have the 300.
Great looking bike but it hacks me off that this bike is $4800 in US but 4800 pounds in UK! $7700 in your money or $8500 with ABS. I think thats why the UK is named rip off Britain, not just our Government do it to us but also the manufacturers!
$ 8/hrs ?! and youre in college jesus christ in my country your getting underpaid 10.25-10.50 is for 18 years or older 8.25 for younger and your average jobs (retail, food, etc) 10.25 - 15.00 if your waiter you may get paid less but you get tip
I just love the ninja 300 in white.I want one.

Ninja 250. Why it is a twin cylinder, has great power, cheap and easy to maintain, and hold it's value pretty good.
With my cars I have always felt like white looks cleaner longer and also looks really sharp when it is clean.
Thank you for the review, Sir. It was fantastic, you almost covered every feature of this bike that a buyer would like to know about.

These guys can more than likely get that done with no problem.
Move to wherever it is offered. seems like a good place to start.
We are located in La Marque, TX about 30 minutes drive from Downtown Houston just off of I45 South.
Yes, This is a great bike for a new rider! Sorry, we do not sell for export outside of the USA.
The best of the excellent design, out Of any brand,Not too hyper neither under design.perfection
And this is what I will be coming to see you to get!

This will still have more power than a 250 with exhaust. The 250 do run well though and are still great bikes. Thanks for your question!

Yes, you will be fine.
Why did the trip odometer show 14 while the main one showed 1?
I haven't used the trip odometers at all yet so I don't know how they work, but it seems odd.
Which color looks good ? White would get dirty very fast.

Do you ship to Philippines?
Mine has no issues. Shifts better than my 600RR! Any new rider who does not really know how to ride can try and shift too gently and hit false neutrals.
Will a 300 be allowed for a learner rider in Melbourne, Australia? Does anyone know?
Theres a video out there, cant find it all of a sudden. But a guy is stating the neutral finder is problematic. how do i buy a bike from you guys?
yeah.. about as low of a seat height as sport bikes get.. u can always lower it some more..
i am in india i need this bike how do i get it........
would this be a good bike for me? i'm 5.8 ft tall...
Giga bRush did you get it?
They're close to $7,000 in Australia and our dollar is currently stronger. So $4,799 seems so damn cheap to me. :P
If the ninja 300 was completely empty, how much money will it take to fill it up to full?
Depending on the price of gas, about $16.00. Thanks for watching.
Wait until you get used to bikes. That old 500cc bike will feel weak to you :)

300cc is good for beginner
Im a college kid who makes $9.00 an hour and i was able to buy a brand new harley at $9,500 dollars. Its called budgeting.
Dude, where the hell are you getting your currency information? Our dollar (Canadian) is worth more than the U.S. dollar at the moment. They have been more or less the same for a couple of years.
Indeed, but I have expenses. Basic expenses, not gaming. After 2 months and $2,000 later, I only have $600 saved.
Haha...yah I'm about 45 mins away from them. You're a bit further north.
why does a 300 ninja have a slipper clutch???!!!???!!!
yes its L plated approved
Lucks bad ass
I must have this bike! But it cost so much. :(
