I once worked in an office where every new employee was given a small canvas to paint. They were displayed in a long hallway. With so many people coming and going at Project Camp, it would be nice to have each person make a plaque or sign that gets hung up somewhere. They could include details on what they worked on during their stay. It would be a nice community building idea.
The problem is not evaporation. You can atually kill the roots if you watter durring a verry hot day (you pretty much boil them). I actually killed quite a few plants both at home and my grandmother's garden until she told me to only watter during early monring or eavning.
This felt natural, ha ha, and it was so nice to see how comfortable everyone was in front of the camera ... Best thing I've seen on a channel like this for a long long long time. Great idea, big fun!
This was one of my favorite videos so far! Seeing the actual walk around made it so much easier to understand the layout and how it’s structured currently! Fun to see everyone’s random interactions with the camera also!
Plugged in the charger to the cork wood , the "HI DAD" block of wood and the banana in the glass that he casually drinks from... lol weird.. anyway love seeing the video done in one continuous shot .
I loved this video, one of your best. It confirms the addage that content is king! The one take walk-through must've taken some organising. You've inspired me to try the same with our community workdays.
Our Monday dose of Project Kamp gives us a jolt of energy, enthusiam and hope for the future that will get us thru the rest of the week. You're the antidote to the tsunami of crap that is the hallmark of the modern world. Love the sense of spreading out from Base Camp into the living ecosystem and creating paths to each piece of infrastructure. The Sketchy Ruin has a lot of potential, and it has already survived a previous forest fire. Seems very smart to restore it to ongoing usefuless with an eye towards a renovated, somewhat fireproof structure. A pleasure watching the whole community at work. Well done people!
Just an FYI. Try laying a tarp(s) down and throw the cut bush and tree debris on it then drag it to the open space rather than making lots of wheelbarrow trips. Depending on the situation of course. Well done with clearing the land to make it more usable. Very interesting channel. Thank you :-)
What a beautiful spontaneous video tour about the property and the staff projects that are being worked on. Also funny that you use a spoon as a microphone holder. :🙂 I always like to use things that work great, but were not originally designed for. 🙂
Would love to see more of Ted! You all do such good work on the land, the learning process must be challenging but greatly rewarding. How I wish I could go and lend a hand.
I look forward to your weekly videos. This is a grand idea for those that are free to come and go. You learn so much from you all. This is a wonderful project.
Amazing video! Always wondered how big the land would be by walk. So jealous of your project. Hope this channel helps me to get the inspiration and information I need.
Do you have any clay on the property? Those mimosa trees you have so many of make for pretty good supports for a clay-based wall or roof; they're thin enough that you can pack clay arund them, and thick enough to hold some weight without sagging too much. Look at the huts they make in Africa , plenty of those use even thinner trees.
On the whole project: Just WOW!!! My deepest respect! This is the most useful thing to do at these times!!! What I appreciate is the role model you are producing with all the personal and scientifical documentation. Thank you so much for that! This is the real life science we need so much which I hope will become more and more to make living on planet earth sustainable and enjoying for everyone in harmony in symbiosis with nature. Concerning the watering, a steady dripping system would be the best way to keep the soil wet without needing to do a lot watering by hand which is alot of work and isnt really as effective as the dripping system. Less water needed, less work to do, plants grow better and faster. Wish you all the best and that progress is continuing as awesome as it is right now. Definitely found a new series to watch, am curious how season 2 ends and looking forward to what season 3 will bring. 😁
Great video :) A good temporary measure for the shipping container is adding 1-2 large shades across the top with gaps (needs to cover entire roof to edge). May also be worth installing an extractor on the side.
This is so amazing, I'm crying because this is my dream, to have a community of people on a plot of land and we all work and clean and cook and eat and learn and build and talk and do everything with each other. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for showing me that my dreams are possible and attainable. Salud!
Absolutely love these guys! I love the way the one shot setup and you can tell it is awkward for everyone but in a funny way. It's as if they are holding back their laughs from how awkward everyone is on camera.
You could set up a very easy irrigation system for your garden with flexi pipes and connectors to create a grid of pipe work and just poke holes in all the pipes.
All I see in each and every video is dreamworld haha, you guys are just amazing for sharing your journey, one day when reality allows my escape I will be following suit for sure! All the best guys :)
You guys make me smile - and given the state of the world, that is a very good thing. Thank you! (and 'I already have a spoon' will stay with me for a while 🤣)
Great video, loves the concept and Daves' pitching. One thing to note: when exporting the final video file, make sure youtube doesn't compress the bitrate too much. we had some artifacts in this video
SKIMCOAT the entire building with mesh and additionally add polypropylene fibres to the sand cement mix. This would increase the strength of the walls and also allow you to straighten out the walls.
I don't know why, but it feels like Portugal has some good stuff. Perhaps this is Rita's best plant? :D Nice video and very nice progress on the camp. Keep it up guys.
Great video guys! Place looks great! Hoping to sell up and buy a plot of land build a van out and live off Grid in Europe myself (only put it off because of Lockdowns last 3 years!) Hope I haven't missed my chance, but have to see... Love what you guys are doing! Cheers from London England 👍😎🏴
Great video, really like overviews like this, hope you guys can do another one in a while when a lot of changes have been done. Would it be possible to increase the resolution, higher than 1080p? I can imagine it is more difficult to handle, but it would be appreciated to enjoy your surroundings in high detail.
I appreciated the little Easter eggs in the video haha drinking a Banana from a cup around the lunch table and a block of wood with "Hi Dad :)" in the workspace!

Very cool idea... or plant a tree and put their name on a plaque..
@@extraordinaryminds6041 planting a tree would be so cool. imagine this going on for 20+ years
Or palm print on a wall specifically built for memories, you place your palm print write your name, date and year you arrived at the camp.
Or plant a tree.
This is a most wonderful idea!
If you water in the evening the sun won't evaporate the water and it will save you a bit of water, love following you guys ☺️
Exactly mf first thought when I saw it
The problem is not evaporation. You can atually kill the roots if you watter durring a verry hot day (you pretty much boil them). I actually killed quite a few plants both at home and my grandmother's garden until she told me to only watter during early monring or eavning.
exactly that's what we do in the atlas mountains here in morocco
how about 'ollas' - unsealed claypots with just a hole on top to refill. you put water in and it will slowly water the area around it
Maybe put mulch on top of the beds to help retain the water in the soil.
Wow, that was one hell of a one-taker. Really liked the little easter eggs, especially the adapter in the tree for green energy 🙂
This felt natural, ha ha, and it was so nice to see how comfortable everyone was in front of the camera ... Best thing I've seen on a channel like this for a long long long time. Great idea, big fun!
awesome video, probably my favourite since season 1, made you feel like part of the team, i understand a little bit better how project kamp is build
agreed
awesome and awkward at the same time. Love Dave asking these "weird" questions at a time when noone not really wanted to answer. love it so much!
Amazing format! What about doing the exact same path for the episode #120? So we can compare the progress :)
yes. remind us
It’s next week!
What a great video, finally got a real scope of the size and layout of the project. Good stuff!

Loved this filming style :) Very well done! Hope to see more like this.

such a good video the camp has come on a lot.
In one take, nicely done.
So much of progress made. It is coming along nicely 👌. Great job!
Great tour of the Kamp Dave, well done. It reminds me very much of a camp I used to visit in Australia, many years ago.
Thanks for the vidéo and stay safe ✌️.
Well done! The format gives a better view of the Real distances. It feels your walking there yourself
Thank you for doing this and documenting your journey. Maximum respect and love from Atlanta, USA.
Nice video! I am looking forward to seeing the progress on the waterfall. See you next time.
Great video. Project kamp you lift my heart and seeing people like you gives me hope for mankind's future. We just need a few million more like you.
Would love to see more of Ted! You all do such good work on the land, the learning process must be challenging but greatly rewarding. How I wish I could go and lend a hand.
That was an AWESOME video especially for just 1 take! Great job my friends! Shalom from Mesa, Arizona USA!
Great work everyone!
I know how hard it is to co-ordinate any 1 shot video & you all did good 🥰
Also nice to see the place in real time scale
how many shots did you do? Just remembered at the end that its a 1shot....well done!
Such a nice way to show all your areas!!! great idea !!! Thanks!!!
Que fantástica comunidade! Excelente trabalho e ótimos vídeos! Adoro seguir 😁 muito sucesso para vocês!
Made me smile a lot during that video.
Hi from Australia!
Excellent video. Love the simple straightforward style.
Another great video.
Cool presentation
Thanks for sharing
Cheers 👍🙂🍻🦘

All the prep work saved time on the editing 😃

great format - turned very natural. good work guys!
LOL!!! The toilet being used!! Loved that you just took it in stride and kept going!

Love the community and how everyone gets on with their project in making
Project Kamp work
Love and Rainbows
This was such a funny tour of the camp! Amazing!
I love you guys!
Light and warmheartded video. Loved it!
Great video idea! Probably easy to edit, quick to shoot, and it really gives a good sense of what its like to live there. 10/10
This video was REALLY fun. I think partly bc it is so authentic to what Project Camp is about. Thanks for all these awesome videos folks!
it's so beautiful to see the community growing :)
The one shot video is really great to mix up the film style. Very casual and fun
Guys, a signs system will be great to guide people into the trekking of the kamp! made it with mimosa's wood, nice advances!...greetings from Chile!

Woot! Looks awesome. Great progress everywhere. Love the communal meal shot at the end. Food, the great connector.
What a different and fun update. Loved it!😀
“What is your favourite thing you have planted?” Hmm, I wonder…
"Favorite thing we planted..." The smile on her face and Dave's quick departure says it all: marijuana!
shhhhhh.....
@@zonan4 I thought she was stoned too.
It's not illegal in Portugal I believe so who cares if she was.
Or a baby!
"people don`t like when you open up the toilet when filming, I don`t know why?" LOL

This format was great! Simple for you, informative for us!
6:58 that computer is running on green energy
But how, did they put an electrical system inside the log? wow
Pretty sure it was just a joke, they drilled some holes into the log for a laugh
This is my favorite of the 30 or so of your videos that I have seen. Impromptu, candid, and fun. Bom apetite!
Glad to see the sketchy ruin is getting less sketchy every week
wondering if they'll call it the sketchy home at the end.
@@myrdhynnit will be the 1st Guesthouse!
Love the addition of the microphone!!
Such an inspiring team you are! .The spoon mic made me laugh at the end :D
This has to be my favorite of everything I've seen, so far.
Fun episode for all I hope! Thank you
loved it. this video is so pure... not scripted at all ahaha love you guys
You all are hilarious. Well done! Keep on smiling and doing the great work.
Great video as usual. Thanks guys!
Creazy oneshot 🔥 nice to see the land in one take!!
A little levity in this episode. Digging the spoon mic.
All I see in each and every video is dreamworld haha, you guys are just amazing for sharing your journey, one day when reality allows my escape I will be following suit for sure! All the best guys :)
Featured Julie after long long time
I love when you keep calling it the "sketchy ruin". Makes me laugh.
You guys make me smile - and given the state of the world, that is a very good thing. Thank you! (and 'I already have a spoon' will stay with me for a while 🤣)
Very much enjoyed the video!
Love from south africa
Great video, loves the concept and Daves' pitching. One thing to note: when exporting the final video file, make sure youtube doesn't compress the bitrate too much. we had some artifacts in this video
My favourite video up to date
SKIMCOAT the entire building with mesh and additionally add polypropylene fibres to the sand cement mix. This would increase the strength of the walls and also allow you to straighten out the walls.
Beautiful :)
Ooooh maybe you should get water vats to collect the winter rain for watering the garden in summer.
I love this style of video! Could make it possible to release 2 videos a week, that would be awesome
I don't know why, but it feels like Portugal has some good stuff. Perhaps this is Rita's best plant? :D
Nice video and very nice progress on the camp. Keep it up guys.
we certainly have the weather for it. can you please tell the government that its one way out of the crisis ;)
That was realny great tour! 👍
Great video guys! Place looks great! Hoping to sell up and buy a plot of land build a van out and live off Grid in Europe myself (only put it off because of Lockdowns last 3 years!) Hope I haven't missed my chance, but have to see...

Another video with Rita!! Oh how beautiful!
I love the macbook charger plugged into a log LOL.😂
@PROJECTKAMP
What software are you using to 3D Map & build the contour lines of the land?
Great video, very fun. Liked the subtle "Hi Dad" haha and seeing Jullie's smiling face again, however brief, plus was that Adrian in the loo? haha
Lol the toilet should be the thumbnail
Oh, I liked this video….! Better idea of layout of camp. Great job.
Are you guys going to build a earth works berm at the end of the property that faces the highway to absorb the traffic noise?
As always... Absolutely Awesome 🥳🥳🥳
This video was needed, a lot of system thinking happening there!
You should have a live cam at the deck on the mountain
Loving the power socket on 7:00
I look foward to see the map and 3d model :) Looks like north side is higher ? You could make system of ponds to fight the drought and fires :)
Great video, really like overviews like this, hope you guys can do another one in a while when a lot of changes have been done. Would it be possible to increase the resolution, higher than 1080p?
I can imagine it is more difficult to handle, but it would be appreciated to enjoy your surroundings in high detail.
Nice, you got it all in one take! good job
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love you all guys.
