Wow! This is a surprise. I didn't expect anything in the Georgia grand jury to be videoed and broadcast publicly. On the federal level, not even the actual trial is recorded for broadcast -- although I hope that will change for Trump's various federal trials. I know the events that take place in this grand jury won't be broadcast, but I hope the fact this much was broadcast means Trump's actual full trial in Georgia will also be broadcast. I can't wait!
@@harold9394 I know. I mentioned the way federal cases are currently not televised at all as a contrast. Yet, even though I know this is a state case, I was still surprised that the grand jury swearing in was shown, because the grand jury proceedings themselves are still strictly secret, even in state cases.
@pacotaco5526 huh? They were Cocaine found in your presidents white house! I call it Biden's Crack house! Of course they have already called the investigation Off nothing to see hear let's move on his last name isn't Trump! Right?
How many potential grand jurors are watching this and how many times does it happen if not all 46 selected grand jurors can fit in the room? I imagine it's the jury box, could be the public gallery.
@@BD-zg7is mid 40s - thanks for asking. Title of vid is about grand jury (that which votes whether to indict or not - not the trial jury. 6 months later and STILL no trial date yet) selection process - soooo... my guess is that's what my previous comment was related too. Did I do wrong oh wise one? (Bows graciously) You haven't answered anything for me - yet. Feel free to;-).
After the case has been presented, only members of the grand jury can be in the room for deliberations. They discuss the case and vote on whether to return a "true bill" or a "no bill." A "true bill" means the grand jurors have voted to indict because they think there is probable cause to believe that the person accused committed the alleged crimes. A "no bill" means the grand jurors don't believe the person committed the alleged crimes or there isn't enough evidence to indict.
Let's hope so. The American people have a right to see it unfold in real time -- just like the Nixon debacle. I was very young and I watched every minute of it. Digital memory can be destroyed with the push of a button. Live memory, and the tomes of books to be written as a result are harder to destroy so that the word 'unprecedented' no longer applies.
Delusional bastards , criminal Joe has all the evidence against him and nothing happens ??? Don’t worry every dog has their day . Meanwhile keep kissing his ass . Live in denial , Trump is innocent , your president is the real criminal . He will pay for it !!
Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. It is obviously not impartial, given that the conviction was along party lines despite clear evidence of wrongdoing during both impeachments. So Trump will face state and Federal indictments for various crimes he allegedly committed before, during, and after he was president.
As serving as a trial jury myself,I respect the process of the judicial system. It’s very detailed and thorough process.
Yet you are making comments from your phone...you must be a prop bot. Fuck you, and reported!
Normal grand jury instructions. Nothing to see here! American justice will prevail.
Normal stuff. Just a former president likely getting his third indictment. Normal stuff.
Lmao

@@videoinformer yeah, it was a little jarring.
For those of us that aren't familiar with this process this is VERY enlightening!
Thanks for showing. Can't wait for their "true bill".
