there is an ant species that typically dont fall into the pitcher but live in a symbiotic relationships where the ants consume the sugary nectar on teh rim and defecate into teh pitcher, providing the plant with the phospahte and nitrate aswell as the occasional ant falling in

Makes sense, superglue is simply a polymer. If the polymer can't flow and form inside of a crack or microscopic pit, it won't stick.
Little known fact: adhesive tape, aka scotch tape generates microscopic sparks and weak xrays when pulled form the roll.
@@spvillano that didn't have anything to do with it. They didn't use it to fix cracks. They sprayed it on frying pans that had non-stick surfaces to see which pan resisted the krazy glue the most. I think Teflon came in first place.

I would paint the inside of my house with that SLIPS stuff. Hopefully never have to dust again since nothing can stick to it. Cobwebs would be a thing of the past since no spider could get up there unless it came in from the ceiling somewhere.

SLIPS reminds me of cubic boron nitride, which tends to attract a monomolecular layer of water to its surface. This self-lubricating property, combined with its excellent hardness, makes it a fairly popular material for tool bitting.

Fun fact: super glue is so hot that when it falls on your skin it burn, but you don't see it burning, but is actually feels like it, if you observer carefully fumes come out when you put it on paper, and it may burn your eyes so bad it will feel like you put a needle in your eye.
