I was there the day before yesterday for a night by catching a train from BangSue station. It was planned to be a bicycle and walking trip mostly. It is such a stunning place that it makes me forget to be hungry. I lost almost 2 kg. good workout really.
Opal...thanks for this wonderful video...for sure this place will be in my bucket list on my solo exploration in Thailand next year. Cheers....and more beautiful and informative videos....Bobby (SG)
Somehow every time I went to Ayuttaya it was freaking hot- definetely wotrh visiting, good food too😊 Please mention the Thai names of the food in your videos, most vendors don't speak English cooton candy= โรตีสายไหมใช่ไหม?
Opal,,,, thanks for all your hard work putting together all these fulfilling videos of culture, travel and foods in Thailand... like and subbed long time ago.... just here doing some research for my next day trip....
Hi Opal, what a nice videos you have here on this channel. I've watched some of your Bangkok videos and all of them are interesting! I have a question for you: if I have 3 days and 3 nights in Bangkok, what places are you going to? Bcs, I'm planning to visit Bangkok in the end of Sep till the early Oct. Thanks!
I would suggest, Chinatown, Wat Arun, Mahanakorn tower. If you have time to travel a little bit outside of bkk, I would say Damnoem Saduak floating market, Maeklong railway market. Ayutthaya temples are amazing too! gosh so many must see places❤️
@@opalstoryofficial Thanks for the recommendation! I would prefer stay in BKK to have a food-tour hahaha. Ofc i will try the boat noodles on your previous video. Thanks!
Sawadee khun Opal, a video well done and helpful as I will be visiting your lovely country in December. On the way back to Bangkok, it will be good to receive some recommendations for dinner between Ayuthaya and Bangkok. Of course, it will be a good Thai restaurant. Khob Khan. Lenny
I found out by doing some research Thailand 🇹🇭 had one snow fall day back in the late 1960’s in one of the northern towns 😅.That was a while ago I know Thailand has gotten pretty hot since then.
Thanks for your videos 🙏 I hope Thailand is recovering from the lack of tourism due to covid pandemic 🙏 I visited Ayutthaya in January 2020, it was deserted, unreal... I miss Thailand and Thai people so much ❤🙏 take care Opal 🙏
I think you mean Tangkwa😅 Tangkwa is leaving next month but now she’s pretty busy preparing stuff. You might see her in a few more video before she goes 😀 Ploy is here in Bangkok but just busy at work. Sorry it will be just me, Opal, most of the time🥹
This was the most touristy area we visited during pre-pandemic and full of tourist traps. The tuktuk we rented near the train station offered us a lower price in the beginning, then suddenly they were asking us a more expensive price after the tour, we really felt bad after that. Tuktuk also had no idea where the famous boat noodles where, we needed to use google maps to be able to find it
If the people left and The Burmese army burned the city to the ground. Why didn’t you talk about how the Thai people got it back? If you’re going to tell a story about history, it’s a good idea to tell the whole story. At least a shortened version of it!!! Do a better job, you’ll get more subscribers if you show you know what you are talking about!
The thing is, we did not get it back. We moved to Bangkok and created a new capital city. Ayutthaya was left stranded for a long time, until people started living there again. My grandpa is from Ayutthaya and I'm sorry I didn't give you the information that you need.
It is always so refreshing watching your videos Opal 🩷🩷🩷 thank you for bringing me tour around your country virtually 😘😘😘 hope to see you in Thailand!!

Any tips as i am driving straight from bkk airport
hello how much did you paid for the boat ride? was it a one hour ride as well?
it was 800 baht, about 1 hour
i see, what time is the last booking?
@@marcuslin1441 I think around 6:30 that’s the last ride to see the sunset, otherwise it will be too dark❤️
ok noted, going to bangkok soon. hope to see u there if there’s a chance! 😊

Hello. I would like to ask how much will be the rent for tuktuk to visit the 3 temples? Is it possible to finish the tour within 5 hrs?
how much for the boat?

I really liked your video but it appears overexposed and some parts are difficult to see.
