We went to both the aquarium restaurant and rainforest cafe when we were in Nashville. I can’t believe they don’t have these in pigeon forge, they are fun restaurants.
I’ve been to the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney and had the coconut shrimp and although it was almost 20 years ago it was the best coconut shrimp I ever had
We live not too far from Nashville and gone there a couple of times although it’s been a few years! The food back then was ok, but both of yours looked better! Lol! It is pricey like you said but you are paying for atmosphere for sure! Thanks for sharing!

Gosh, I haven't been to a Rain Forest Cafe since my daughter was around 8, she's getting married next week and she's 32 years old, so it's been awhile. My husband and I went out for Mexican Food tonight, we both had a "special of the day" a blackened sea bass platter and one plate of chicken and carne asada fajitas, two glasses of iced tea and one slice of mud pie for dessert, our bill was about the same as your meal and we are in Southern California, we thought our meal was fairly priced, but since covid we've found all the restaurants are raising there prices. Thanks for bringing us along for this trip, it looked like a fun dinner.
Sounds like you had a great meal also tonight. Never had sea bass before. Prices are raising and its making it harder for people to go out to eat. I bet you have great places to eat in California. 😎😎

Havent been to rainforest cafe in 2 years, been to one at disney springs (which is my favorite) and the one at animal kingdom which is my least favorite and the one in nashville is a close 2nd place! Took my 23 year old son there all the time when he was little and now we are taking his 2 yr old daughter to nashville in oct. I cant wait to see her eyes light up, she loves animals!! Im gonna ask for the gorilla room its my fav. And i truly enjoy the food! Love the rasta pasta!!

John's fish platter with that rice looked so yummy. Did the rice have raisins in it? It looked that way. I like chicken too, just as much as you do too Bobbie. Your plate looked luscious too.
I've been to the Rainforest Cafe Restaurant in New Jersey when I lived there.. I would get the Beyond Burger that's delicious vegetarian burger. The food looks good. Eat your green string beans Bobbie or you're not excused from the table 😅 lol
Thank you. Yes grew up on Motley, Ratt ,Whitesnake and all the other hair bands. Saw Motley Crue on the first tour they did with Ozzy. We wanted to decorate our game room with alot of the Sunset strip bands and others we enjoyed. Appreciate the comment.😎😎

That is one tour I wish I could have seen. Glad you got to see it. Invasion of Your Privacy is probably my favorite RATT record. If you haven't heard it, check out Stephen Pearcy's solo record Smash that was released in 2017. It rawks.
We go to Opry mills mall a lot. We have ate there twice. The first time my kids were young and scared where the animals started making noise. The sec isn’t they loved it. Pricey but good. A special occasion for sure.
Opry Mills is a nice mall I walked by this restaurant but didn’t eat there because my friend was afraid her kids would be scared. Ended up eating at the food court instead. Prices are a bit inflated but I guess you are also paying for the environment.
We took our grandson to one of these and he hid under the table and was afraid.. Cute store 🏪In that place I do not think I would order their steak would do fish or sands. I liked your fish dish.I do not like spicy though. I love coconut shrimp 🍤
Been there years ago. Going back to Okey Mills in February may have to try to eat there again. The Volcano dessert is for more than one person very rich but fun to eat with a group.
If you are ever at Disney World, Disney Springs has the T Rex Cafe which is also owned by Landrys. Although Iike Rain Forest, IMO the food and teeming is better!

Maybe ask the server how green beans are prepared next time, or ask to change them out. I have been there a few times for birthday parties usually, and I loved the food I had.🙋
Grew up in nashvegas, this place was always known as too pricey. Did you see her meal? $20 for chicken fried steak and 2 sides. And his was $30? Give me a break. This is why you don't see people lining up to get in this place. Have you ever seen the prices on the little toys or t-shirts? Make sure you swallowed your food already
