These things are cool, but I feel like they have almost been skipped over (at least if you're buying it for a vehicle only), if you will. A lot of new vehicles come with one as opposed to an actual spare tire. I've been lucky to not get very many flat tires, but the ones I have gotten.. there was no way an air compressor would help, lol.
For big azz off road tires one really needs a larger compressor. For the average car tire they are perfect. A big bad off-roader wouldn't be caught dead using a pretty little Barbie air pump.
Fantastic job ,great team work . I was considering to return my fanttik thinking battery should last longer . however it's a good product for my motorcycle. I was able to purchase on amazon under 50$. Thanks .
Update? I came back here cuz I knew I watched your video before and searched it up on my history. I'm thinking of getting the fanttik cuz I don't want the other one dangling.
Fantik supplies you with a USB to USB- C cord only. So you will need a charging brick (that's what I call them) to plug in to a wall outlet and in a car you would need a 12v plug with a USB outlet.
Both are for vehicle tires but can be used for bikes and other inflatables. We thought that if we showed pushing them with a 37" tire how capable either are even with a bicycle tire. Thanks for watching!
😮for car tires, these things are gimmics. Most vehicles have enough storage space to easily carry around a 12 volt air pump. If a 12 volt air pump is incaced in plastic, the internals are plastic! Plastic piston, piston head, connectors, spend a few more dollars, and buy one with an external metal cylinder head. They won't wear and tear out after a few uses or even after many uses. These things are being marketed wrong for maximum profit. No one is going to pull off the side of the road to pump from 18 to 32 psi. You'll pull off the road because the tire is flat! Or you'll walk to your vehicle with a complete flat. These little bicycle pumps with internal batteries will not bring those tires up! Maintaining a tire and pumping up a flat, NOT THE SAME, . A pump should do both.. or why have one? These things are for cyclists.
Hey Monk you have to quit saying yeah every 2 seconds I realize you're a kid but that is so annoying to listen to please don't do that in future videos thanks
Just got airmoto for my motorcycle. Great!!! Tested 18lbs to 30lbs in 4 minutes. Exactly what I needed to carry on mc. Have larger portable air compressors to carry in our cars and trucks
I enjoyed the presentation and explanations regarding the relative merits of both air pumps. Well done, rational and ultimately, useful information. Thank you!!!!!
My question, so many reviews on you tube, people get the product free or at a reduced discount. The two you have, where they free from the company? Reduced price? If so did you lean to one or the other? Thank you Rick in Florida.
I think when there is a comparison video, it's less likely to be sponsored. Also I saw a power station video and the guy said the company Jackery was gonna make him sign a contract saying he won't say any derogative comments about the product, and that he can't do a comparison video. The channel showed the letter on the screen and he refused the products from Jackery.
For most part these air compressors that run on a battery don’t cut it. Let’s note if you had a complete flat tire you would be out of luck. And you certainly could not refill all your tires from 18 to 36. Both are costing a little less than $100. But you can get a small air compressor that will plug into your cars lighter for about $25 dollars that will fill all your tires from flat and does not take up any room either. Plus how long is the battery good for?
I think these are great if you don’t want to go to the gas station to air up. I carry a can of fix a flat for a puncture that will get me to a safe place. Great job.
Loved the review. This comparison was just what I needed. I take my motorcycle on long trips. I need to check my tire pressure often. Checking the tire pressure was the easy part finding an air supply was not. There were times when a gas station was not nearby or the the air station at the gas station did not work. With this I can alleviate the air supply problem. Thank you. Also, the father daughter team works. Keep up the good work.
I carry a co2 inflator for motorcycle air ups. Much smaller and lighter. No battery required. Complete kit with patches and plugs smaller than the AirMoto.
I felt the Fanttik is great for not only motorcycles but for full size cars and trucks! Glad you found our info helpful. If you haven't subscribed we would love for you to!
ALL of these tiny air compressors like this are a joke for airing up a car tire. These are really made for bicycles and sports balls, and toy inflatables. Don't waste your money if you use it for any type of vehicle tire!!!!!!!!!!
You should have done the test from empty thats the most important part if your broke down and need to air up a tire to get you to safety as long as the tire will hold air
If it’s totally flat, it’s most likely needing to be repaired or replaced. If you know how to change a tire with your car’s emergency tire, that’s an option to be able to get it to a garage that specializes in tire repair or replacement. If you have roadside assistance, they’ll come to your house or wherever you’re located to change it for you.
You show us the specs to read and then you say it all. One or the other dude! I just can't stand this repetition all the time. People make a 30-minute video with 25 seconds of information!
Air moto needs to have twice everything including piston quality, maybe German or Japanese technology and cooling system like a fan and lubrication maybe with Teflon grease, hope to see it happening for a small size pump
Love the father daughter vibe !! My daughter and I are close too ❤️
That's awesome
Thank you for this comparison video. The little girl is a good sidekick.
She's the reason we have the channel. Thank you!

My wife is still using the fantik in our van. Works great and holds a charge for a good amount of time.
@@monkeybiznessoffroad ok thanks!
@@monkeybiznessoffroad oh by the way, can the fanttik be charged both in the car with 12V, and by the wall outlet?

Great Video but I wish you would've done a Mtb too because I think that's what it's for. 👍👍👍

To be fair, filling from 17psi to 36psi is way to low of tire pressure. Technically you could have topped off all 4 tires! LOL
I'll put this on my Xmas list 😉
His is an suv tire, listen to the tire size.
There made to use on tires were the tire light comes on in cold weather

I filled up 4 flat 37: mud grapplers with one in 20 min.. ,,,,,,,,,,totally kidding.. ha… I carry a co2 tank.,,. Thats the best
That’s great
work hours? 🤪 clueless reviewing.. 🙃

You're right, she's a kid so give her a break. She's learning how to be in front of a camera and I think she's doing a great job!
I think it’s great, it shows she is engaged. Tomato , tohmato

Great review. Thank you for this. I was looking at Airmoto and didn't even know about Fanttik.
I have that Fanttik inflator. It works very well.
Jack the tire off the ground before filling it. Those units have very small pistons.

No, it was not sponsored by either company. Bought them both from Amazon at the price shown.
@@monkeybiznessoffroad thank you, I will buy the larger one for my chevrolet Colorado trail boss.

Great tire test. I won’t be buying a airmoto. I don’t think it’s worth the money. Thanks for sharing.
Thank y'all for reviewing these. I'm going to purchase the fanntik for myself and buying the other for my mom because it's lighter
Great Video!!!

Sounds like the Airmoto is out..
How about the Fanttik X8 (or s100) versus the Towertop TF1502... or the GOOLOO GT160?
When the tests are done on a regular passenger car. The Airmotto does fine. Not everyone drives a pickup or SUV.
Excellent review. You all did a great job. Rims sick yo
Thanks!
Hey old NCCC friend! Been looking for something like this. Congratulations on your channel!
Thanks! Which NCCC friend is this?
@monkeybizness3684 Nick Irving. Hope all is well bud!
@@mechanicsgrip Nick great to hear from you. All is well and hope you and your family are doing well.
From what I understand these can’t be kept in a warm car due to battery degradation. Anyone know if this is true?
Great video I’m not very impressed with either one I think I’d buy a 12 V air pump
Nice Bronco!
Thank you!
What abt xaomi air compressor
Great comparison - no idea why they don't sell the APEX in the UK 😞
Amazon UK only has the lower rated Fanttik and the Airmoto
That's weird you are unable to get the Apex in the UK. That is interesting.

I think it was intended for smaller inflations personally, but she is a big market.
No one mentions vans pickups suvs tires yet
Tires are tires

Warranty?
Both have a 30 day money back guarantee and each have a one year warranty as their websites state.

USB charging cable
But what does the end plug into? A cell phone charging block? @@monkeybiznessoffroad
