I’m not crying, you’re crying . I grew up watching the Shaytards. I remember when the kids or shall I say teens were tiny. The memories always make me cry but in a good way cause I was blessed to grow up with the Butler family. I was a teen young teen when I started watching the Shaytards and now I’m 29. What a great family to grow up with.
Brock offering his cake before even taking a bite for himself genuinely brought a tear to my eye. It’s refreshing to know that good kids and even better parents still exist.

These happy birthday type of videos make me feel so old. I vividly remember watching you guys as a teenager and thinking how I want to be as great of a dad as you are Shay and I absolutely loved seeing your family grow in size and how kids got older every year. It felt as if I was part of your family. Now I'm a hairy dad with a house loan and I can only say thank you for showing me how to be a great dad. I've modeled after you two and hope to be as involved with my own kids as you both are. Thanks for all the years together and hopefully many more to come! Happy birthday to Rocktard!

I saw the Shaytards from when shay was still a radio DJ and we didn’t see the kids at all, to when he started vlogging, to when they announced they were pregnant with Brock, by telling the other three kids, to when he made the Shaytards channel, to when they became literal celebrities and lived a celebrity lifestyle. And still..my favorite vlogs are STILL just these little family vlogs. Just these every day moments that remind us that while sometimes life can be REALLY hard…the little moments are what are important. The little moments in life are the ones we all look back on with fondness.
