DAC is the original version of this song. You need to listen to David Allen Coe “If That Ain’t Country”. DAC is an outlaw country original, and he’s an excellent songwriter also.
He was on death row, some of the guys he was locked up wrote some dirty, misunderstood songs, some call him a racist till they find out it was black men that wrote the songs. DAC wasn't scared to sing them.
Two of my favorite DAC songs are 'Jack Daniels If You Please' and 'Willie, Waylon, And Me'. He wrote the number 1 hits 'Take This Job And Shove It' for Johnny Paycheck and 'Would You Lay With Me In A Field Of Stone' for Tanya Tucker.
DAC in my opinion is one of the best singer/songwriters there is. He doesn't really get the respect he deserved because of his "kiss my ass ill do what i want attitude" and he also has some rather we'll just say "racy" material that was wrote as satire bar room music alot of people trash him for. He was also a member of the outlaws 1% MC and played at sturgis every years up until a year or two ago.
This is the original Tennessee Whiskey. Learn more of his hard life and prison time, biker life. He has written sooo many country hits, others made big. His ex-wife was at my nieces wedding, she and our friend came down from Nashville. She was hitting on me, lol He wrote a song about her, Jody Like A Melody, then he wrote a song about her running off with a black man. He writes some very good songs, but he also writes some raunchy, rated X songs. He is definitely his own man, lol Wrote a Tanya Tucker hit, Would you lay with me in a field of stone. Now I lay me down to cheat, Please Come To Boston, Take this job and shove it, You never even called me by my name, The Ride, Cum Stains on The pillow, many many many songs. lol He's not racist, and his black log time band member will tell you that, but he writes some songs that you may think he is, but many were wrote in prison.
Now, THIS is my Tennessee Whiskey, and not the new version of Mr. Stapelton! 👍 David Allan Coe... One of the REAL Outlows (spend many years in prison). George Jones did a great job on this song about the same time. But I still don't know, what kind of dead animal he's got on his head in this video! 😅😅
The thing about his truck stop album is the record label made him do it, it was a do it or your fired type thing, dac answer was he performed those song in daisy dukes and you can just see the distain on his face having to sing those songs, he has public spoke out against what happend but people still slam him for being racist, its litterally dont hate the player hate the game sinerio
David allan coe is and will always be one of my all time favorites, should check out his song London homesick bluse, awesome reaction, love the channel, happy holidays 😊
Listen to his classic song You Don't Have To Call Me Darling(Darling). Some of his songs were controversial due to the controversial usage of certain types of langanguage.
If you really want to be amazed, try anything off of David Allan Coe's albums Castles in the Sand or Rough Rider. Both the title tracks and the song Missing the Kid are phenomenal!
You have a beautiful voice! David Allen Coe is soooo good. Serious old school country. Check out his song called “You Never Even call me by my name” and also “The Ride”.
David Allan Coe had (has) a great voice but you'll want to be very, very careful which of his songs you react to. That said, his song You Never Even Called Me By My Name is great and will make you smile -- guaranteed.
This is just Classic Country. You need to check out some bluegrass - you'll quickly know the difference. This is way too slow for most bluegrass ;-) David Allan Coe is like a cross between Merle Haggard and George Jones, and he also sang the greatest country and western song ever written - "You Never Even Called Me By My Name"
Happy almost anniversary. I'm sure I was probably your first subscribers. David Allan coe is a true outlaw of country. A lot of his songs are not KID friendly nor UA-cam friendly so better be careful of reacting to him..😂 My friends and Mya use to sneak my dad's David Allans album to our clubhouse and listen to it along with RED FOX 🦊 another not kid friendly 😂. Us teenagers in the 70s was made different.😅
DAC is the definition of eccentric. He did time in prison. He claims he murdered someone, the state claims their records only show it was theft. He recorded an X-Rated album. He fired his entire band including his son who was playing guitar. He recorded an album where his band was former members of the heavy metal group Pantera.

Come on, bruh...

Another good song by him Is you never even call me by my name
I think you would absolutely love David’s “would you lay with me (in a field of stone)”. Tanya Tucker performed it as well.
This is the original. And he is the original outlaw. The man could sing .
The perfect country and western song, also known as the never even called me by my name David Allan coe
Yes great one!
Agree!
“I’d Rather Go Blind”, by blues legend Etta James was the inspiration for Chris’ arrangement.
I’ll check it out!
Mona Lisa’s lost her smile, would you lay with me in a field of stone, those are two of his best songs.
D.A.C. could probably explain in great detail the differences in Country, blue grass , and folk.

DAC is a totally underrated vocalist. He could really sing
He does a duet with the great George Jones called "this bottle in my hand" thats a great song. Also
caught a show at a biker bar late 90s dac one of a kind
If that ain't country, a great song by David Allen Coe😊
If you are feeling adventurous check out DAC if that ain't country. But have a few glasses of adult beverage first
Now, THIS is my Tennessee Whiskey, and not the new version of Mr. Stapelton! 👍

This is going to be a fascinating journey
My favorite DAC song is, The three biggest lies in the world.
You’re the first person I’ve seen react to DAC.
You have a beautiful voice! David Allen Coe is soooo good. Serious old school country. Check out his song called “You Never Even call me by my name” and also “The Ride”.
She's already reacted to The Ride
@ oh thanks - I’ll look it up
George Jones sang it after DAC
Try finding Tennessee wiskey.... Jack Daniels is one. QT is another. Maybe one more out there. A lot of Kentucky wisky or bourbon out there
Fire reaction girl 🔥
Thank you 🙂
Check out George Jones version of this song.
I wonder what DAC thinks of Chris Stapleton's version.
This is his song he wrote it.
The original
Don't know if you reacted to these two Elvis songs but I think you will like them " You'll Never Walk Alone and Long Black Limousine".
React to David Allan Coe- Spotlight.
David Allan Coe had (has) a great voice but you'll want to be very, very careful which of his songs you react to. That said, his song You Never Even Called Me By My Name is great and will make you smile -- guaranteed.
the ride
She has.
God I love you
Don't go down the D.A.C. rabbit hole...he went kinda crazy when he got old
Stapleton 's cover of this makes me sick to my stomach. George Jones had the best cover

Waiting for brit to realize he has an album of x-rated tunes😂

Check out his x-rated songs, they are wild!
😂😂😂
Do some research on his song library, and I promise you won't care about the quality of his voice much anymore.
Check out George Jones’ version (the studio version) and Daryle Worley. My three favorites of this song are George, Daryle, and DAC.
I still have his 1980s X rated albums that you SHOULD NOT listen to ✌💖☮
I love a number of David Allen Coe songs, however I recommend that you don't go down the DAC rabbit hole.
i found your channel when me and my wife separated after 28 years. I always enjoy tour reactions. You helped the past 12 months. TY

We can't hear the music at ALL.
Can barely hear the music. Your voice is fine but music is way low.
Don't know can't hear it
Cant hear it at all
