- Representing the Seattle Seahawks in Dortmund, Germany, former Borussia Dortmund player Marcel Schmelzer joins Karl-Heinz Rielde to announce Seattle's selection of Michigan Wolveriens tight end AJ Barner in Round 4 of the 2024 NFL Draft with the No. 121 overall pick (via a trade with the Denver Broncos).

I did NOT want Fautanu. He's never played guard... sure scouts say he PROJECTS well to guard... but who knows? I am so tired of Seattle taking OL (and DL for that matter) in the Carroll years and then trying to move them around somewhere. Ugh, enough is enough.
That said, Haynes was the best PURE guard in this draft and we stole him in the 3rd (he should've gone in the 2nd). And with Bradford already with some ankle issues in TC, I fully expect Haynes to start at RG day 1. And if Tomlinson can get back to how he played at SF, that's fine at LG.
