You are not alone in having to deal with odd weather. The first 3 weeks this month we were on track for having one of our coldest Mays in 150 years, with 7 consecutive days of daytime accumulating snow and temps in the twenties.... then flip a switch last week with temps in the nineties. Now temps in the low forties are back in the forecast for June.
That 2145 looks like a double vine. I had one like that before and the vine split like crazy. It eventually corrected itself and separated into two vines so it is possible that yours will correct itself early and it would be fine. I would definitely suggest cutting it if it doesn't correct itself early on.
Double vines aren’t a big problem. Just water it heavy for about 3 days and they will either straighten out or split. If it splits, just cut one of the 2 vine tips and leave the other as your main vine
That 2145 looks like a ribbon vine to me. Water the heck out of it, and add some N. I used about a 1/2 cup of fish fertilizer in 5 gallon of water daily, also dissolved about 2 tbsp of calcium nitrate in the water one day. Took 6 days, but I noticed on my 1844.5 that it split into 2 vines
Definitely a double vine I grew one exactly like that it last year and the pumpkin split on me ...plant was just a very difficult one to work with I’ll never do it again
hi i want to grow some calabaza pumpkin but the space i have is limited is it possible to grow the vine and cut it when it passes over 12ft before it starts flowering and remove the secondary vine and grow it with just the main vine, I'm from zone 13 I'm not worrying about the season just space issues
Growing Giants With Scott Yes I need to go over and take a look at it later today or tomorrow got a busy day hopefully we’ll get a chance to see it on Sunday. We should definitely know if this point in time. I will let everybody know as soon as I find out
Great video thanks look forward to them every week
Thanks josh!

I have that that funky monkey on my 1501, same as your 2145. I hope it grows out of it.

Sure 👍
I had a double vine on a pumpkin and it cracked so hopefully it won’t be bad
Looks like double vine. It may grow out of it once the vine lays down.
