if a female goes in heat without mating, after a few times she gets Pyometra, an infection in the uterus. I almost lost 2 cats that way. It's serious and life threatening and must be treated quickly and aggressively (removing the entire reproductive system, uterus AND ovaries, which is very expensive and quite a heavy procedure for the cat compared to neutering that can be done with simpler techniques like Ovarian Pedicle Tie, in which there's a very small incision (2 stiches) on the side and way easier on the cat, and cheaper. Watch out for any discharge coming out while she's not neutered (if it's white/green, and lot of licking involved, it's a sign of emergency).

I use these videos when I have to leave my cats alone and spend time holding my snakes in the other room. One of my cats in particular HATES being separated from my husband and I (he's a rescue), and this helps distract him a bit. Thank you for your work!
Every morning my Pamela (female cat) watches bird TV. She asks for it at 9am every day! Im working office with bird tv and I have to tell you that its very relaxing. Thanks bird tv.
It cracks me up every time I put this video on and my cats hear the three chirps at the beginning of the video, they come FLYING across the house and leap onto the top of their cat tower!!! 😂🤣😂
So love your work. These videos are amazing. Great background for working around the house or even on the job. Love the strong robin sounds in this as they are my favorite songbird - always the first bird of spring and the last bird of fall in our state.
My cats didn’t care much for it at first, but I left it on since I felt it was great to take a nap to, but then the cats started attacking my TV and ruined my nap 😂
What kind of bird is that big brown bird that looks so disheveled? 1:40 I think there are 2 that are the same kind of bird. One is brown one is more light grayish. I just saw there is another one with one leg. 12:30 They look like the same type of bird to me.

I mean, TV screens are very sensitive to sharp kitty claws😬 or being bumped by fat kitty bodies😱 Usually my cats just sit and watch intently, but what if they decide to pounce on the birds in the videos? 😳Anyone else have these thoughts?

Since I started letting my cat watch these videos a few months ago, he now expects to get to watch them constantly and comes running if he hears whistling. He also tore into my bag of birdseed and began eating it. He begged for the mealworms we bought to give to our chickens. We gave him a few and he loves them. I'm worried now that he thinks he's a bird or at least wants to be one. Our other cats aren't as obsessed as this little guy. They do not eat birdseed and mealworms. Should I be worried about him?
I think it is the UA-cam algorithm determining where and when commercials are played - the creators can’t. My cat watches all the commercials if m not there to skip them.

On a cat sitting assignment, shy cat isn't coming out to this but the friendly cat went into hunting mode and it's adorable.

They are young birds. Birds sometimes hide one leg to rest.
They look like a fledgling towhee to me

Awww, you have sweet, funny little guy! I think he is okay with mealworms, but with those birdseeds I am not so sure...😅
