It is a very difficult process to do properly. It is very easy for the blade to catch some plastic and break the spoke, and it gets tougher as the spoke gets thinner!

So much detail and fine painting. I wish the metal of the rifle was represented as matt blue steel as it was on the original rifles. The silver color stands out as immediately wrong. The only thing I could notice as wrong. Thanks for sharing your skills.

When you are thinning down the spokes you are better off with a scraping action rather than a cutting action because you have more control & greater uniformity.

Sorry but I already bought different models in 1/48. For example p-51, bf-109g-6, 109f-4, p-39, sbd-5 and f6f. However thanks for the tip.
What's the item inserted into the foot used to hold the figure for painting? Looks like some sort of blunt IV tap or something.

PLASMO - plastic models Their Btr 80 and T-72 have been nightmarish to me so far, But indeed this kit looks quite enjoyable.
I ruined Zvezda su-27 :-D
PLASMO - plastic models Poor Su-27, I like the details Zvezda puts in the models and the cheap price, but then things like the sprocket Wheel for the T72 is supposed to have a bolt but the bolt is wrong size and there is already a shitty molded bolt ontop..
Ughhh so frustrating
