Yes. The PS30 has twice the beam width of LiveScope, allowing you to monitor both downriggers with one transducer. Since this video, hundreds of Scandinavian trolling anglers have started using this and found it to add a new dimension to their fishing - you know if the fish are there.
Just slightly above the bottom edge, otherwise you’ll get a huge spray. Make sure to allow for a bit of adjustment if needed. With Panoptix you don’t need speed performance - you don’t use it above 5-7 knots anyway - so you might move it closer to the engine than your traditional transducer. It’s a good thing for it to be as close to the center line as you can get away with to get optimal view of both downriggers.
@@larsfrithjofnielsen7213 thanks! Also I see the ball in Red to a certain depth then it disappears of I'm deeper than say 120ft. Are there special settings?? I have a Garmin 1022 chartplotter.. Thank you
Fed video, det kunne være fedt med en video omkring side vu til fladfiskeri og bundforhold og hvordan det ser ud på side vu. evt omkring kbh havn og skovshoved evt ven.
Hi Jens, Do you tow/launch that nifty boat with that car? Nice video!
After 3 years of advances in the technology would you still suggest the ps30.. and what head unit would you recommend

Where should that ducer line up exactly in relation to the bottom edge of the boat hull??? Below even or a little above?

@@brockus35 You should be able to see target fish down to about 60-70 meters (200 feet) out of the box. Make sure your software is up to date.
, hi i chec this mount and in the center of this mount they have two 90 degree piece of metal , do you cut this two plate, tank to you
Question. By turning the transducer 90 degrees. How does the 3d historical view look for the structure scan? do you have any video of that?
You would't want to twist the transducer if you want to use the historical presentations - only recommended for LiveVü.
Pelle Karlsson used a new mounting bracket for the PS30. Does anyone know where one could get a bracket like he has?
It's the transom mount for the PS31, item number 010-12371-02. Available to order through any Garmin marine dealer.
Pretty sure it's just the bracket for the PS31 transducer.
@@larsfrithjofnielsen7213 there is a new one from Rytek
Nice
