Yes that's true, you can hardly find them in Europe too unlike in Kenya where you'll find them in Urban areas (those with gardens) or in the village where they are in plenty . I suffer from IBS and I love them . Unfortunately we get to enjoy when back in our motherland

Burning plastic is harmful to your health and the environment. Instead of burning, try reusing the plastic sheets as tarps for cleaning up, painting, or construction projects around your home.
Hi Charlow. I'm a learning gardener and one of the things I have learnt is that you can compost brown boxes by cutting them into small pieces and dumping them in your compost pit to decompost with other materials. It is said that they add carbon to your plants.
True, when composting, you should have a mixture of greens ( weeds, kitchen waste, green leaves, etc) and browns ( straw, dried leaves, brown cardboard boxes, paper etc) all these have to be kept moist to help the microorganisms break them down. Try not to use paper with colored ink as it may not be organic.

And watch out for wood-bugs too because not only termites eat woods up. That's why I suggested light-bitumen because that's what we use in Nigeria when building a house
Couldn't you have reserved that black polythene for the time you'll be painting and working on your ceiling?
It's a delicacy. Even bean leafs are good mixed with other greens
Charlow, leave the covers on the sofás until you complete the ceiling to prevent the dust from ruining them.
Paint the house in bone white. Try not to use too many different colour on the walls. It makes the space appear bigger when you paint with light colours and it's easier to decorate the rooms when buying furniture and accesdories. Also use the same colour tiles throughout the house. In the bathrooms use modern fixtures ie flushable toilets and tempered glass enclosures for the shower separating the toilet from the shower (for proper hygiene purposes).
By the way, your videos are always informative; interesting and pleasant especially the organic farming tutorials are very enlightening. I must say I have learnt a lot from both of you. ❤.

Did you know that you can use rabbit pee and their feces for your kitchen garden.
If that plastic burning right now, please wear a mask and extinguish the fire immediately to prevent further release of harmful fumes. For future disposal, consider taking plastic to a recycling center if there are such things in your village or finding creative ways to repurpose it in your home even washing them a bit and using them to protect your vehicles.

All the subjects are taught in English apart from Swahili which is a subject and a language on its own.

@@GodwinEJames The common language here in Kenya is Swahili, I'm most cases people term English as for the people who are 'learned' just a notion.
@Charlowkush001, it is not unlike my country. Standard English is for the so-called learned and creole English ( broken English) for the majority. Some of us speak both as our first language is creole English and standard English we learn in schools. If I speak Creole English, you are likely not to understand me.
